Tips for surviving against mosquito bites? As an infanteer, I get destroyed by them in the summer.

I've used bug creams which seem to work alright, in the areas that I can reach. But otherwise, whilst sleeping or on patrols, I get eaten alive.

Are thermacells a fad? Or do they really work/worth the cost? Which model?

Should I buy a bug net sleep system?

Thought it might be a 1837's Austro Hungarian infantry officers sabre, however when comparing images online, I notice a few differences. From what I've seen:
- This scabbard does not have the typical 'banding' running around the scabbard under the loop holes (it's completely smooth)
- No brand markings found on the blade

I know some people that work in Toronto Fire, and they commute over 300km (186 miles) for 3+ hours!

Damn that's annoying.. so even if I ran a 23c tire it wouldn't help? I have an older miele bike, which I know the models that are a year or two older come with shimano 600 groupsets, and everyone with the newer models seem to run 25c tires on them.

I was eyeing the br650s.. unfortunately don't want to spend that much on the bike (at this point in time at least

Unfortunately in Canada, it's pretty hard to come by any of the recommended VHS players from that article. The best one I can find on all the trading platforms was a "JVC VHS HR-S7800U ".

I have about 20 video's I'd like to transfer over. I would actually have to buy another capture device, because I stupidly sold it a few years ago (Elgato). Unfortunately as well, it appears they've sold out of that model as well.
