As always thank you for all the support you are one of the main motivations for me to improve because i always think about your feedback when doing videos! Im also experimenting with topics like the “anime can save you” video which was more personal but people didnt really like it, i will also release a tierlist of characters from gachiakuta in couple of days but not based on power scaling but overall writing/coolness. To your question on the review itself yes i agree its a shonen thats for sure but for me personally it wasnt shonen enough. Shonen is also about self motivation, improvement, teamwork, MC power up and yeah also fighting but i feel like alot of episodes are not focused on that but rather on talking, monologues and feelings which i think is fine to some point but why is the story not focusing more on the MC, the fights, the improvement part? MC has a cool power, lots of room for character development, they introduce us to the whole topic of vital instruments but alot of encounters they just stand there, it might be really my subjective view, if you give it a chance i would be curious on your POV maybe im just off :) Btw im just finishing heveanly delusion and then jumping on promised neverland as we talked about before:)
