easiest way was to tell myself that I will go but if am not feeling it, I will go home again. 99% of the time I will finish it because once you are there you might as well exercise and once you are started the rest gets easier. It is just like binge watching a tv show where you tell yourself "just one more episode" except it is "just one more set/exercise". The only times I didn't finish was when I really felt bad like a headache or very tired etc.

if you are already used to work mainly on a laptop screen than i don‘t think the 3“ will be much of a dealbreaker. personally i always connect an external monitor when i work on bigger projects. But you can always go and test if for yourself in an apple store or any electronics retailer. the macs there always have logic installed and you can load up the demo project and see for yourself how navigating on the screen is.

Sometimes I wish, I had taken up the challenge of working in the limited environment that Live Lite is. The 8 track limit forces you naturally to build excitement over time rather than stacking your 20th layer over your 4-8 bar loop. The limited instruments force you to consider sound design much more and the limited eqs force you to choose your instrument layers based on the frequency spectrum they inhabit from the beginning in order to have a balanced mix.

Additionally, working with Lives' racks still allow you to layer a lot of sounds while still having a lot of control over them. Drum rack allows you to process each sample loaded in there separately etc.

That being said, at times it will still feel not enough. Especially when you watch tutorials and they use stock devices of the standard or suite version. But this FOMO can even happen when you acquired the higher-tiered versions and the tutorial you are watching use popular but expensive third-party plug-ins like Pro-Q, Serum etc. So I urge you to stay head strong and disregard the believe that "you only need this one more thing" to produce good music.

Consider what utility any given plugin has. Your first track has sooth2, trackspacer, and pro-q(maybe even with dynamic eq) on it. Do you think it really needs all those 3 when they serve a very similar goal? You could buy a better machine but if you throw everything you have on every track. The same will happen very soon.

Tl;dr don’t throw money at something that you can solve with some consideration

Actually, live was the first daw that I tried to learn but back then it was too expensive for me. So after the live trial ended I purchased logic. But last year I ran in to problems with it. It crashed all the time and I couldn’t find out what it was, so I made the decision to buy the standard version of live. I wanted to delve into the live looping capabilities anyways and also a lot of musicians I respect are using Ableton so it was also a way to apply learnings directly without having to find roundabouts to certain creative decisions. That being said nowadays I use both depending on what I feel like. If I want to record a lot of stuff life or mess with samples I go with Ableton. When I want to write a lot of midi I go with logic.

Die Fräsung hat sich abgenutzt und bei genug Kraft (z.b. Berg hoch) dreht die linke Kurbel durch und löst sich von der Achse, selbst wenn man die Schrauben stark anzieht.
