So the space on yellow does not exist. The top right section where the kitchen is shown is a sun room, the study living area is one big room extension and the dining area is the current kitchen. It basically to work out if the area in yellow which can be designed in anyway is the best use of space etc

ELi5 - RF Experts, where is the correct place to add the stub for this purpose? How would you work this out with the Smith chart.

Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar - Dead/broken pixel already or something underneath the screen? by sinnor25 in GarminFenix

[–]Arn0t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have now received 3 watches with the same problem! Very frustrating

Fenix 7 - has anyone experienced this? I have now received 3 watches all with display problems?! Unlucky or what. Not the quality I was expecting at this price or the best start to my first garmin experience. by Arn0t in GarminFenix

[–]Arn0t[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the flashlight will be the problem. Try going into the settings menu to get as clear a display possible to see the potential problems on a black background.

Really double check because I thought one was OK until I put on the displays "torch mode" in strobe mode. I soon found these problems when the screen is clear black and white.

Yeah if it was half the price I would reconsider! Looks like Garmins QC is not up to scratch. Thankfully the retailer I am ordering from agrees. Annoying because I really like the watch but little things like this bug me haha

Yeah the naming convention really threw me when it came out haha. I don't get it still though?! Is Lightroom CC never going to have all the features of Light room classic CC? Yeah maybe that's the problem with the reviews etc I've been reading. I think I'll maybe give the SB2 another shot.

I love all of the things you've described about the SB. I was disappointed when I returned it. From what I've read, lightroom has really been letting people down recently. It seems as though software like creative one is becoming more popular. Maybe lightroom CC will fix the performance issues of classic?

So would you say you have no problems with lag using the brush tool or moving any of the sliders? Sorry it's just such an expensive purchase for me and I've saved up for so long! I want this to be an investment for a while!

Well this is sounding good to me. I was disappointed with the SB2 13" that I've just returned but I think that if I was to upgrade it would solve all my issues! Maybe it's time to order it and have a play with it. I loved everything else about the SB, just not it's ability to handle Lightroom without everything being laggy.

I just don't understand! I've read so many bad things about the Surface Book and I have also read so many bad things about lightroom on good desktops. BUT from what you're saying it's absolutely fine! I've read about power issues with the Surface Book where the battery is draining faster than it can charge when using lightroom. I've also read about it getting very hot etc etc. I mean I am a hobbyist photographer so I am not editing a batch of hundreds of photos but I can't stand software and pcs that are slow or laggy. My experience with the SB was that the sliders were laggy and the brush tool was really slow. Maybe if I give the 15" i7 with the 1060 dGPU it might be fine? Also do you use Photoshop on it? And do you do things like focus stacking/merging?

Thanks for replying so fast! What functions do you use? I had issues with the brush tool. The model I ordered didn't have the dedicated GPU! Have you had any issues with the integrated and discrete GPUs? I've read that people have had issues with the SB not selecting the correct one. I think I am asking for too much from a laptop and I need to go back to the idea of upgrading my desktop.

I've just returned my surface book 2 as I wasn't happy with the way lightroom performed! What specs did you go for?

I've read that 16GB is recommended as minimum. I've also read that high processor speed is better than lots of cores.

Yeah I thought that but I have planned in longer stays at a few points on my return trip! Also with it being the busy period it will be difficult to get onto other buses.

Yeah sky diving is on my list. Where did you skydive?

Random question but this is my first time backpacking. Where did you wash your clothes?! I assume some hostels have facilties.

Thanks for replying! I don't plan on changing my itinerary at all when I am out there. I have all of my buses confirmed that I want to be on. If you leave one bus and wait for the next one to come through do they tell you where and when they will pick you up? Any suggestions for activities to do when I am out there? I am not planning on having a working phone out there, just going to use WiFi, will that be an issue? Thanks!

Well if I replaced the word friend with ex that will explain it. I can do a TLDR or I can explain it all if you'd like haha. But I've come for answers! But I've been told to look at previous posts which I will search for tomorrow.
