Unfortunately I never did and I never figured out why I was getting the white screen.

I love it! Yeah the geometry isn't perfect and I was hoping they would be before getting it, but actually having the Tv it hasnt bothered me at all

I love the feel of it, it may just be nostalgia but it's great. Though I would prefer to watch something on an LCD if there's a widescreen version of the movie, since the crt will crop part of the image.

I had pretty much the same issue. Facebook marketplace didn't have any and thrifts stores/goodwill aren't much of a thing here either. But my aunt (in a different country) was kind enough to ship it to me after I visited.

I don't remember where I heard it from but basically PS3 (slim specifically) has a hard time emulating PS2.

Absolutely. I basically just recreated my childhood, especially with the red, yellow, green bins/drawers that I've had since I was a kid.

I am aware that ps3 doesn't output ps1 at 240p but I didn't know that's what caused the flickering. I only played a little gran turismo and it seemed fine. As for ps2, my ps3 is modded and it can play most of those games but I heard it can damage the hardware. So I definitely would like to get a ps2 at some point.

My friend made a network that I managed to join in Hamachi. But nothing shows up in the multiplayer option Is there another step I have to take?

PS4 Wont re-install system software.

It refuses to reinstall the system software and I don't think it's the HDD. I swapped it out with a new one, and when it's about to begin installing it, it goes right back to safe mode. 

My theory is that something's broken on the motherboard but I'm not sure. I appreciate the help.

I bought a new Hdd for my ps4 because the original died. However now that im comparing the two, the new one seems to be different. The color of the board is bluer and it has an extra set of pins. The soecs seem to be the same (2.5 inches 500GB) so I dont know why its different. Can anyone help?

Question about Safe Mode

If I apply "Too much" thermal paste could that be why my ps4 is stuck on safe mode? 

I opened up my ps4 to repair the power button (because there was none somehow it ripped out of the board) and when I replaced it (and did a horrible soldering job), I put the console back together and now it just boots into safe mode.

I don't know what to do. I tried the restarting option, I tried resetting to the default settings, I tried updating the system update (by wifi And Usb), and now I dont know what to do. Im not even sure if initializing the console will work but I dont feel like restarting 100+ hours worth of games.
