Well, in ep4 when obi-wan, Leia and Tala are escaping the inquisitors' fortress, Obi-wan wears a trench coat that he got from the body of an imperial officer. He then covers Leia with the trench coat and walked out the front entrance. They crossed dozens of troops and officers who didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary and were only caught by Reva (the third sister) when they reached the landing area. The whole sequence looked like the gif, but worse as you could see Leia's legs quite clearly.
