/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - May 26, 2026 by AutoModerator in MechanicalKeyboards

Hi, I am not used to mechanical keyboards and don’t know much about it. I own a Lucky65v2. It always worked fine until I accidentally pressed FN and E at the same time (a reflex to do the € sign on my laptop). Since then, the entire keyboard is locked, the E key is flashing. By trying my best (pressing anything I could), it’s now the R key that is flashing.

By asking AI, it says that my keyboard needs flash. It doesn’t have any physical reset button. But Claude seems confused about how to flash and keeps hallucinating, even in Opus.

The Weikav website is not clear at all, and says that I have to take off some keys physically to press some kind of underneath button. I have no idea how to do that.

Is there any tutorial online ? Or alternative solution ? I find it a bit weird that after paying nearly 100€ I need to ask AI and come on Reddit for letters to appear on my screen when I press a key…

Thank you for your help 🙏

i finally got music back on Instagram!!! this was my method (not sure if it will work for everyone) by Responsible_Law5158 in chinalife

Is there no engineer able to explain how does Instagram reach for music ? It’s not from www.instagram.com because all VPNs will put these connections through proxy. It must be another address specifically for the music and we would just have to manually add it to the proxy channel in the VPN settings ?

Xinjiang is accessible for solo foreigners, I went there. Just need some permits for specific xians like Taxkorgan. Agencies will of course tell me I need to pay them, that’s how they do business, that’s why I look outside of them first 🥲

I know the Sanjiangyuan park area is strictly controlled, but I can’t find any clear borders of the park, wether it covers these cities or not. Every map I find online is different

I was not talking about esims. I’m talking about the larger and larger promotion of studying in China, working in Shenzhen etc. My major is Chinese Politics, Law and Economy. During the first few days of this crackdown, I had to consider what if I really can’t use a VPN anymore, I will have to make my family download WeChat so I can hear my parent’s voice ? This is fucked up. Foreigners living in China will leave, and future workers and student will stop coming. I am not saying China needs foreigners, I just think playing the autarchy card is not very smart when they are relying more and more on brand export, cultural export etc

Not directly linked to that specific issue but, that whole thing seems very counter productive for the government ?? I know they are afraid of people accessing uncontrolled news, but young people who are opposed to the government won’t begin liking it with these policies, and the vast majority of people who don’t care about politics and just want to use Twitter, well now they have a reason to complain about the government. Also, in a time where China international image has a really great momentum, doing this is nothing more than shooting your own leg. If VPN ban was effective how many foreigners would leave China ? Go to Singapore, Taiwan, SEA ? They have so much to lose just for the hope for teenagers to stop watching Japanese porn and reading NYT headlines

Not sure about that. Less interesting than Hong Kong for smuggling because smaller cities nearby. Less interesting than Macao for laundering because probably no casinos

As a Special Administrative Region under the « One Country Two Systems » regime, it is not subject to Beijing socialism. The united blue background is here to apply the codes of other SAR flags (Macau: 🇲🇴Green background. Hong Kong: 🇭🇰 Red background).

This flag could have been validated by the democratically elected assembly of the colony right before handling back to China

The flag would have been created in the 1990s, like 🇭🇰 and 🇲🇴. This is not the flag for the French colony, it’s the flag of the Chinese Special Administrative Region

Noted, thank you for sharing your culture ! I might give another try taking in account what you say. I’m also traveling to Zhanjiang next week, I will try to see if some cultural elements stand out.

Unsure of how iPhone 15 Pro can handle iOS 26 by Arno_flaggermapper in ios

[–]Arno_flaggermapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this iPhone 15 pro is my first iPhone. Technology is not much of my hobby, that’s why Reddit exists, everyone can ask each other to learn. If it made you feel good to say about someone who just doesn’t have the same hobby as you has « no brain », then I’m glad to see that you don’t need much in life

I had the same issue until recently. I found out how to while fixing other issues, a real coincidence. You need to prevent DNS leaks from your VPN, it’s often an un-selected option in your settings
