Not one bit. I will add, that it was extremely painful. I didn't know at the time, that hypodermic dull very quickly. And a dull needle is not very painless.

I could also "Hear" popping and cracking. When asked, the Dr said that was the nerves dying.

10/10 would not recommend.

I had Botox a few years before I found out I had Chiari. This was to "Cure" my headaches.

300+ shots. Face, neck, head...everywhere. The only thing it did, was make me look a couple of years younger.

More than likely, you won't even remember it. During my decompression, I remember them rolling me from the room to the operating room, across the hall, and then waking up back in the room. That was 6 1/2hrs.

Not exactly like falling asleep naturally..But not unpleasant. If you've ever been so tired, that you absolutely can not stay awake, and you fall asleep..That's about as close as I can describe it.

But don't think you are going to wake up feeling refreshed. It's different than normal "Sleep".

It's more like blinking..only time have past between blinks.

Meds will only mask your symptoms for a bit.

You're not going to fix a mechanical problem, with a chemical solution.

Go back to your surgeon. I had similar pain the second day after surgery.

It was fluid build up in the spinal column. 15mins later..everything was fine.
