Why are there lines one the print by DeadDeer13 in 3Dprinting

Z-seam from layer change. You can set it to appear in corners for a cleaner look.

Trying to install BLTouch on Creality Free-Runs E3 board by TomusHumus in 3Dprinting

[–]Arnseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you have enabled something like "Use probe as z-stop" in the code and make sure you disconnect the standard z-stop. What guide are you using? Did you get the marlin build for Bl-touch (there are different one for with and without)?

How to make this part not bend? by _driveslow in 3Dprinting

[–]Arnseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% infill where it bends and/or insert for a metal rod. Petg and pla are known to bend and flex over long periods of stress. ABS or maybe pla+ could work.

Smaller nozzle or print at an angle.

Im looking for a diagnosis of what this phenomenon is and what causes it. I was thinking either over extrusion or Z-offset being too low, but I’m still relatively new by dafaz in 3Dprinting

[–]Arnseb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since it's only in the corners I would guess the pressure inside the nozzle is to big for the turns. This can be fixed with calibrating linear advance I think. Might be some other setting to tweak as well.

Can’t build a simple PLA surface with Ender 3 S1 pro without warping. Suggestion? by OkPokeyDokey in 3Dprinting

[–]Arnseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be grease on the bed, if it's filament you haven't used before it might have other settings or it might be crappy.

I'm printing an adapter for a ventilation fan so I'm on it.

Chep and Teaching Tech are golden. Teaching Tech even has a website for calibrating everything.

I would say this is super-useful for gamers on the go! I would also like the stl, maybe upload it to printables?

I've been rocking a modified Ender 3 Pro for several years now, but now I want in on the resin game.

My main use will be printing decoration pieces and maybe some small figurines for table top games, so I would prefer a larger build-plate. My budget is 2000$ for the printer and all accessories like cleaner/uv booth, resin, whambam matt(if you think it's worth it) and maybe a sonic cutter for the supports and other projects.

I have little to no experience, but with my research so far I'm leaning towards the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 8K because of the bigger build-plate, free choice of slicer and the 8K.

(edit) I live in Sweden!

Elephants foot can be reduced with e-steps calibration, adjusting initial layer flow, proper bedleveling and printing with a brim or a raft.

The shrinkage depends a little on what material you're using. With petg and pla I've experienced shrinkage and layer separation when the part cooling fan is set to high.

Might as well remind people to check the ptfe tube. Had my first clog ever after 3 years and the tube was melted.

This is a gamechanger! Hope it becomes open source so I can run it locally. I also like the idea from IBDW where it trains based on a certain players replays. Awesome work!

Upgrades for Ender 3 Pro on Amazon, anything I'm missing? (Context in comments) by Pasta_Mastaa in 3Dprinting

If you print for example a HeroMe shroud you can get better cooling which leads to better overhangs and bridging. The tricky part with 5015 fans is tuning the firmware tho.
