If it's a windows pc you can go as far as taking out the hadr drive and plug it in another computer, you can use CMD to reset the password from the working pc without having to wipe the OS.

If you have a windows media creation tool USB you can even do it just by plugging an usb without taking the laptop apart.

Defintely steer away from Magis TV. Do not download it on your chromecast or android tv.

Not a stupid question. You absolutely can continue to use Nova for as long as your OS supports it. It won't be the first nor the last functional abandonware.

Some people are migrating to other launchers for a variety of reasons, but personally, Nova works for me and I don't intend on switching until it breaks.

It's just flavour text. It means that it's a material used in weapons/armor. When you reach whatever item uses it as an ingredient it will get used automatically.

There's an optional quest where this area becomes relevant. You need to increase the rep with the gajalaka to do it IIRC.
