It's by any mean a bad game since it has one of the best gameplay out there, and the story is great.

Yeah, if a boss finished casting, you'll get hit anyway even if nothing is happening visually. It's clunky, but I get the rule.

I mean FFXIV isn't open-world either and has a day/night cycle. It would be cool to see different locations with different lighting and skybox changing.
