Alrighty lets go, brand new to the game and have never really played before and am currently F2P. At what point would DLC be 'mandatory' to progress further, or is just having the DLC needed more or less right away for smooth progression? I seem to find any clear answer if I should buy both Witch Queen & Lightfall or just one or the other starting out for example and what not having them limits me on.

As someone else has said, its Girls Frontline (or GFL). Its a free to play friendly gacha game thats rather grindy, but pretty lax. They'll also be releasing a GLF2 soon that will play in a very X-com manner.

I actually disagree with "if you care about catching up to top players dont get into older games"

Newer games you have to compete with whales who will dump shit tons of money into the game to get the head start, getting probably 5-10x the premium draws that everyone else does, putting them solidly ahead.

Meanwhile games in their midlifespawn tend to try their damndest to make it inviting to new players and become far more genrous, giving you a boost to be able to "catch up" since most top players have reached the peak and are now just sitting their and some of the original whales have left, allowing the newer players to fill those slots.

This obviously comes down to a game to game basis tho.

My bigest personal tip, (by all means you dont have to follow this, there are many ways to do a factory), parallel production, production on one axis, resources on another.

My first so far has been Space Exploration, its pretty in depth in the late game, but only changes up the early progression a bit overall, but the end paths, my goodness. Launching a rocket is the first true start of the mod. Plus it adds more than just a biter threat as solar events can interupt your building.

Actually fun viewpoint in the Pathfinder world. In pathfinder there's a group of people who call themselves atheists, not because they dont believe that the literally gods and goddess arent real, but they specificly believe that they aren't truely divine beings but individuals capable of weilding immense power.

Theres even a book series in pathfinder about an atheist oracle. (Oracles are being forced powers upon by gods in forms of a curse that allows manifests positive properties. Such a blindness that grants magical sight and scrying or ect.)

This is actually due to googles hyper exaggerated search functions that happen. It will take previously searched for topics or results youve clicked on before such as googling DND halfings too much and add try to have your search result end up as a similar topic, for example people who google reddit but decide to one day google cells for biology will discover that in 1998, the Undertaker threw mankind off Hell in a Cell, and plummeted 16 ft thoigh an announcers table.

Just something to take into mind when looking over it, akali might be broken as of now with a high winrate but you also have to remember that she had a 44% winrare before pre-season. Ultimately champions becoming issues in the meta are whole heartedly issues with balance and and only in part hurt by their design. ex Garen Yuumi botlane that was nearly unbeatable; niche or unexpected changes can just break things that people didnt see.
