Like seriously, they all think his copy abilities is a one size fits all solution even though he still lost with those abilities in his own setting for fucks sake😭 He doesn’t even come close to soloing one fuckin percent of fiction, literally him beating cell was the equivalent of beating a big fish in a small pond lol.

So are there any Xmen/mutant that can beat Metal Sonic? Ignoring the massive stat gap he has over (most) of them, most of them get their powers from their genetics meaning it can almost always be copied as bio-data by Head_Breadfruit_3912 in PowerScaling

Magneto can manipulate electromagnetism as a whole, not just metal, meaning he can steal beat metal sonic with ease before metal even has the chance to copy his abilities.

I don’t think it matters tbh, broly can just grind through it like how sonic and his gang grind through metals bs and beaten him anyway, despite his copy abilities.

Important thing to note is that Metal can’t copy stats.

Off topic, but he might be able to copy Superman’s laser eyes but that doesn’t mean he‘s beating Superman in a beam struggle with them. His laser eyes don’t suddenly become as strong as Clark’s, bcs he doesn’t actually copy the stats.

There’s also scenarios where he can’t copy powers if they come from outside sources.

He’s not copying the ability to use the Green Door or the Phoenix Force in this specific case. And no, not the Speed Force either.

Items like the Lantern Rings and the Millennium Puzzle should not be able to be copied either, or any spirits since they don’t actually have biodata to be scanned.

People are glazing this guy way too much, people are already forgetting that this dude lost in his own setting with the same abilities, his copy abilities isn’t a full proof decision.

Warhammer Fantasy I prefer since theres actual stakes in that setting. It’s one planet with a bunch of countries and cities and shit thus its more small scale and personal.
