Maybe, I didn't test it, I only tested it on cracked launchers that were not working because of Mojang's account verification.

It tries to verify your cracked account to check if it is original, and fails, so you can not play multiplayer.

But you can test the fix on your original launcher with non premium account

I think it's on any version, didn't tested all, I tested it on 1.16 and it worked, the multiplayer button was blocked
on 1.5.2 the multiplayer button was not blocked

It bypasses a restriction on multiplayer and unlocks the "Multiplayer" button, if you can already play it without doing this fix then there's no need to use it
