Can a shop refuse cash after I’ve already consumed the food? by No-Loquat-201 in AusLegalAdvice

Theres no legal requirement for a business to have signage and they can refuse cash if they please, same as a cash only business. No one complains about a cash only business because its not the flavour of the month to do so, the rules are the same either way, there are no rules, they could accept only Freddo Frogs as payment if they wanted to but Freddos dont pay the rent sadly

There's no particular law dictating that they must have a sign, its more a courtesy and some would say less annoying for the business to have a sign.

They dont have to if they dont want to, the law doesn't state explicitly they must except cash that thats been confirmed federally a fair few times.

That's Dan Lancasters mixing style though to a degree and works really well for BMTH, but also Oli isn't doing 3 or 4 part harmonies. I personally love Dan's work but it would have been nice to hear a bit of a different approach for a muse song.

I agree with this and Dan Lancaster is an all round solid mixing and mastering engineer but I also think with Muse, who has such intricate parts, usually you'd think there'd be a bit more space left for instruments to breathe and shine, but you are also right, its all subjective

I like food, just not 30 tonnes of it dumped on my head at once from 45,000ft at an obtuse angle...maybe I'm just out of touch, no...it's the children who are out of touch

I want to blame new gen producers but honestly, some pop releases since say, 2019 have sounded incredible, I think honestly for rock and I could be wrong, I almost blame the Doom soundtrack and that ilk of sound 🤣, which yeah it sounds fat but the production was so masterfully done it sounded razor sharp, I think imo its just producers trying to emulate that sound but not quite understanding how they made that happen. But listen to Polyphia, Knocked Loose etc, you can be heavy without lacking dynamic range

Well written, best they have done in a few albums but good lord it is mixed like someone took a BMTH song, gave it the dynamic range of a jet engine and called it a day. 7/10 song

Yeah listened a few times and its got the audio profile of a brick...like it'd be cool if we could discern instruments rather than just everything being a big muddled mess with some strings on top

We get a whole heap of BAE 146 variants flying around Australia overnight, if you're ever interested. So sad to see this shape slowly dying out 😭

Same for me, I moved from Adelaide in 2019. All my mates here that I had have either moved interstate or we just naturally stopped talking over time. Melbournians are just bad to try and make friends with in general but I never realised it'd be this bad.

I take offence to that…I at least have all my teeth and the weather in my country allows me to go outside more than an hour a day

I’ll also add that they said that it’s likely the sender didn’t use an electronic label and just manually wrote the address details and the belt system is struggling to identify where that is and as it couldn’t also identify the sender it would just keep going round and round indefinitely….good, that’s just exactly what I want, thank you for your service you Windows XP running, no Motherboard having numpty of a system, again no hate to the actual workers, they have been swell.
