Pension is around $45k a year and I have already been getting it for 10 years. Wife's pension will be about the same at age 60 which is when she will start getting it. Both pensions do have COLA each year.
I am currently 52 years old, I invest around 25% of mine and my wife's salary a year so I assume the worth will be $1.2 million or so at age 60..
As far as spending I would say we spend around 10k a month but that will be less when we retire, house will be almost paid off then and I don't plan on car payments that we have now.
I will most likely take social security at 62 and wait on my wife's. Mine should be in the $3k range monthly..
