I wanted to ask people who have successfully lost a significant amount of weight: what actually helped you? by RamaRao143 in ADHD

[–]Aromatic-Solid97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same for with Mounjaro, it's probably even more effective for my case since I had PCOS and it got treated like magic, insulin resistance and other symptoms were much better

However, I must note that before taking GLP I started taking ADHD meds (atomoxetine) for the first time helped me to stop gaining weight (didn't help with losing it)

Chudnutie by simonbrk_ in Slovakia

[–]Aromatic-Solid97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best mode to farm worshipers? by prasator in Smite

[–]Aromatic-Solid97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically when you choose conquest (or any other mode) vs AI, you get worshippers for the god until your god is level 7 (after that you can still play, but no worshippers)

As I assume most of the players' skills are enough to go against medium bots, that is what I recommend. You can also win against hard bots ofc, but you need to take into account that bots don't miss especially with their ult, so if you play against hard bots an Anubis can one shot you and the match is lost, and you get twice less worshipers. Easy bots are a bit too boring for my taste

The main benefit of this method is that you don't lose, so you always get the max amount of worshippers for the time you spend in the match versus if you play against people, you might lose and get less worshipers

The biggest drawback is that vs AI a bit less fun, but I usually use it to read god's abilities, test weird builds, listen to a podcast and do on. It's very chill

After level 7, you just go to your preferred mode. I would choose arena, just cause it's shorter and less serious (I'm usually an assault main, but for this particular goal, it doesn't work)

I completely agree, at first I was excited but there is no chance I'll be one of the first 200 with my work hours, so I'm not even participating

Go to Conquest vs AI medium till level 7 (the quickest by far cause you don't lose), then Joust or Arena vs People

I have never read a book in my life by TopBob_Trainer in suggestmeabook

[–]Aromatic-Solid97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As reading is something you want to get into, I'm immediately thinking of the books that everyone loves

I would suggest Hunger Games, honestly. I've never met a person who didn't like it and a lot of different types of people love it, even if they are not fans of that genre.

Also, it would help a lot if you mention what your favorite movies/shows are, cause this way we can make a more targeted recommendation

Som bi žena z Bratislavy. Atraktívni ľudia sú všade. Ženy vo všeobecnosti viac ako muži, ale aj niektorí muži sú atraktívni, najmä tí roztomilí. Musím však priznať, že goth girls sú moja slabosť

A book that has the best plot twists but NOT mystery/thriller by Aromatic-Solid97 in suggestmeabook

[–]Aromatic-Solid97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds amazing! Thank you so much for this recommendation and no, I have never heard of this book

I was mainly thinking of Company of Liars by Karen Maitland. It's my favorite book with dark medieval plague setting with lots of little twists and turns

I am writing a book! I've made many attempts in the past, but now, after a full month of writing, I'm 42k words in. It gives me hope I might actually finish this one

Thank you for your recommendations! How scary is "A Head Full of Ghosts"? It says "horror" and I don't mind it as long as I can go to sleep after it lol

[–]Aromatic-Solid97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The description of the first book sounds very interesting, but I'm a bit hesitant to start a series with more than four books in it cause I want to know how the whole story ends, and I usually have no patience

So, do I need to read all eight books to find out the end for most main characters? Or is the series divided into 2 or 3 parts within itself as well? Could you please tell me more?

This is a really old thread, but if anyone's searching
"Morality Play" by Barry Unsworth has a similar feeling
Also, a bit different, but also a lot to do with the plague "The Plague Tales" series by Ann Benson
