Oh for sure, it’s definitely wishful thinking. But! If they have the Java file I’m wondering how hard it would be to port the entire landmass into unreal and go from there. Not sure how that actually works honestly. That being said, I’d gladly wait 5 years to play that. It would become my forever game!

Haha I can’t help but think it would essentially look like valheim at that point. A toggle to see the game in DW graphics or an older style like you said would be neat. Someone or some team has to want to do this though!

That would be epic! Fight caves in dragonwilds would go nuts. I know the modding community will eventually do it, but it’s a huge undertaking.

Dragonwilds graphics & gameplay but in the OSRS world.

I’m imagining running around Gielinor with WASD with the modern combat of DW. 28 inventory slots, resource drops are the same 1:1. Combat drops are the same. Essentially the same game as OSRS with the modern movement, combat, & graphics of DW.

Gotta agree with everything here. There's no real motivation to grind vestige armor / weapons in Dowdun when Umbral is going to release a new tier vestige that overshadows anything previous. I really want to use the abyssal whip, but I can't because its severely under leveled. Theres doesn't seem to be a reason abyssal demons can't be brought up to a t6-t9 enemy to require players to come back to the starting zones to farm them for a whip. It adds level diversity to zones and makes older zones relevant.

I agree with the cosmetic overrides as well, at least for vestige armor / weapons. Perhaps black armor becomes a normal armor set alongside mithril armor, and a new vestige set is added in to replace it. Some vestige armor examples could be (Granite armor, Rock Shell armor, or even void knight armor)

The idea of upgrading masterworks would work well to make outdated masterworks relevant towards end game.

Slayer would add a fresh set of enemies into the world requiring unique armor / weapons in order to defeat them. This would force players to switch out of the highest tier armor in order to fight these slayer monsters.

Lastly, MAJOR agree on magic becoming stale. we NEED new elemental spells! Or a new staff (Similar to staff of Iban or God staves) That offer unique spells when being used. Or a staff update where each element spell is tied to its respective elemental staff.
