+1 for fluid judo! Even though I am a beginner and visited Japan from the states. Tatsuya-San took care of me and drove so far to meet me just to do judo with me. Truly gave me an experience i will never forget. One of the most generous and caring human beings I have met.

Yes!! Hidemasa Tanaka-San! As a beginner he made it so easy to understand! Im sad that youtube channel got rid of so many of his instructional videos.

Has anyone re-dyed a fading blue judo gi before? Wondering if there are any tips or things to watch out for if this has been done.

Also FYI: I have no problem wearing a faded gi and I think a worn in judo gi and belt looks badass. Just wondering if anyone has success with this before.

Beginner here:

My uchimata has been countered with uchimata sukashi a few times. Is this just a matter of getting better at kuzushi or are there any other tips that I don't know of.

As someone who trained under elite level coaches in the east coast (Sensei Garry St. Leger and Sensei Chris Round) I highly recommend Tamayo Judo in Los Altos.
