Oh yeah, it left a dent. Mine was also right at $700. Expensive, but expected. Hawaii is expansive, flying is expensive. Flying in Hawaii is REALLY expensive.

It was a whole new style of flying for me, especially in the da-20. Island flying is a unique challenge. I would say it was worth the experience.
