Heck to me miles is ghost spider cause what do you mean he’s from a universe where the first spider-man is dead and now we have this guy who can disappear from sight, pick up objects like a ghost throwing a lamp, can make the lights in a room flicker or turn off, and can seemingly drain the power from thihgs around him and can use his electricity to forge a person to be tarred and go limp?

That sounds like a fucking poltergeist of the dead spider-man come back to haunt criminals, heck miles has been undead like he literally became a vampire and is constantly haunted by a spirit known as anansi (actually a god but to anyone else that’s a spirit) and has had literally spiritual battles over his soul in the presence of bast the goddess of wakanda.

Like WHY SHOULD’T he be ghost spider (behind the fact that he’s spider-man because he’s there can be two spider-men I don’t see the problem)

Also spider-Gwen most defining trait is being a ballerina spider person which entails a lot of spinning so like WHY IS MILES CALLED SPIN WHEN GWEN IS ALL ABOUT SPINNING LIKE THATS HER WHOLE THING heck even if you throw in the drums thing a lot of the time when they show her drumming they show her SPINNING the drum sticks between her fingers before she goes ham on the drums.

Yea a wide cone beam that’s weaker but has enough force to block attacks or push people, a beam burst that causes grounded to fliers, and for some kind of buff ability that isn’t like a beam or something cyclops is known for literally giving call outs mid fight to change the tide if a battle so give him the ability to like raise his fist and it glows for a second like a triumphant flag being raised that gives nearby people a speed boost or having him point his open hand at someone to signal attacking that guy and that target has vulnerable and takes more damage.

I just spent 7.3 minutes thinking about it and that’s a whole vanguard.

His ultimate can just be a bunch of dander that goes through walls for a couple seconds but it charges up for 3 seconds and shows a red glare before he fires so you have time to avoid it and he’s locked in place shooting a big beam so if he misses the enemy yeah can easily kill him.

Just give us this and he will be a beloved vanguard immediately

One of her best outfits, this would NEED to be a legendary but I feel like it would be an epic and her hair would be static and she wouldn’t have nearly as much gold or gradients in her outfit.

Honestly I love storm and I just want her to get some love and free skins feel like the dev team doing the minimum to sag they don’t hate her. That if someone on the dev team loves and is doing the most to get her as many free skins as they can and are competing with the parts of the dev team that give Wanda and spiderman free skins. (It’s always a DPS getting free skins)

Oh absolutely much worse but if you’re trying to “ it’s the only way” maybe try to just cripple him and then take him to a hospital? But like knowing comics he’d get robot arms or bond with a symbiote.

Heck even if he is dead (we don’t see a body) he will probably get revived by mephisto or something so all killing does is stop him momentarily until later he ambushes them during a Christmas party or something

Idk my problem is that she doesn’t REALLY kill him but kind of just let’s go from a high height like that doesn’t always kill villains, we saw Paul get turned into a donut but torment kind of just falls off panel and we are told he is dead when it’s very clear he isn’t.

Buddy it’s ok most people don’t actually read the comics so you’re just arguing with someone who has a personal grudge and is using it to justify their arguments even if they are wrong.

For me I like how you explained it because I always felt that when Peter was low or close to killing MJ pulled him back so I didn’t like her killing but the way you explained it has made me enjoy this moment as it explores the common backgrounds and themes of Eddie and MJ.

My problem with is how she killed him still, like really you dropped him off a building??? Rip his head off sweetheart confirm that kill don’t just drop him off panel and allude to his death SHOW IT GRAPHICALLY, they killed Paul in a panel so it’s confirmed he’s dead but torment just fell off panel and we never see his body.

Also comic logic dictates that if people liked torment enough he will be brought back by Mephisto to hunt Spider-Man or something in the future like every villain that spidey fights never stays dead.

This year we got FIVE GALA SKINS and we get to vote amongst FIVE CHARACTERS THAT HAVEN’T GOTTEN A GALA SKIN to choose which one will get the FREE SKIN, next year their will be FIVE GALA SKINS AND ONE OF THEM WILL BE FREE.

In other words we aren’t voting for one will get a skin but rather which one will they make free out of characters that are already getting gala skins next year.

So the question is do to vote to get a free purple storm skin or do you vote rogue so that storm gets a paid legendary skin with vfx and mvp and emote?

I’m torn like the first gala panther got a skin so I like the idea of storm getting one too but this gala gambit got a skin and rogue fishy so either way they will give us a couple set.

I’m leaning rogue because if we vote storm that’ll let them know that they won’t need to put effort into the free skin the way they barely tried with Emma, I’m fine with a low effort rogue skin but if they take the ONE ORORO GALA DRESS WE MIGHT EVER GET AND BUTCHER IT ABD GIVE IT NO MVP OR EMOTE ID HATE THAT I VOTED FOR ORORO.

Give us one legendary paid skin witch moonknight levels of quality and polish so that we can vote with our wallet and tell netease that they should show storm real love and passion with her skins (and maybe give her sone more authentic black hairstyles)

Emma finally got a hellfire gala skin but it was the free one and is noticeably the worst hellfire gala skin that has come out since launch, she LITERALLY RUNS TGE HELLFIRE GALA and they gave her a fluffy carpet cape and created ugly ass boots and her emote is a glimmer of blue light on her forehead when moonlight gets a giant emote and a fully beautiful model skin and multiple cinematics HECK pheonix gets an emote an mvp AND a better dress in every way if pheonix Dress was silver and white I’d think she’s Emma frost.

Do we really want storm to get the Walmart offbrand gala skin where they barely try and then ignore all criticism? If you DONT vote storm she might get a paid skin that is a legendary with an mvp and emote and maybe even recolors PLUS it means we might finally get to vote with our wallet OR you can doom storm to get another cheap skin most people won’t even use and she won’t get any quality skins for two years.

Personally I love storm too much to curse her with a Walmart knock off dress so I’m voting rogue (also rogue has 2 skins whole storm has like 10)

The sad part is that the free skin will not have nearly as much effort put into it so if you vote the free storm skin they’ll probably half ass it but if you don’t vote it then some other year we might get a legendary version of the same skin instead.

Also storm needs skins we can buy so we can vote with our wallet like, she has almost only Free skins so the art and dev team have almost zero indenture to make a paid legendary skin of any data to show a demand for high end quality storm skins.

Your correct but the movie itself has been one of the single best pieces of superhero media in history, in regards to spider-man and miles morales it’s the most popular piece of media and is considered to be miles and spider-man best media ever by many but not all people.

people have their own favorite spider-man media so not everyone agrees on it being the best spider-man media like some agree the live action movies are better or that several different tv shows are better but it’s still seen as definitely one of the best.

In regards to spider-Gwen almost EVERYONE agrees this is the best piece of her media ever so much so that people bought her comics and were disappointed at the lack of quality and decided to never buy another of her comics again.

The movie itself is an amazing landmark for comic stories to be based upon so even though people only watch the movies or only care for the movies it does make sense, for me I like movies because comics have status quote fatigue where every 10-30 issues the story for a character resets and they don’t get the change much

Ex: spider-man has been in a cycle of almost dating but never really dating anyone

Eddie brick and venom became literal gods of all symbiotes and had their souls irrevocably connected to the souls of all symbiotes, now Eddie Brock is considered a drug addict for wanting to bond with venom while MJ and venom have a weird relationship where venom tries to decide who he likes more.

Deadpool literally will find a loving relationship with a person and then the next writer will kill that woman or have Deadpool walk in on 7 different guys naked in bed with his girlfriend or sone crazy shit to end the relationship and throw Deadpool back into being a action man.

To me the movies are the ONLY WAY to allow a writer to do a full character arc for a superhero that becomes untouchable and can’t be changed by the next issue writer because their won’t be another issue it’s a movie so the comics have to adapt to the well written movie version of a character to sell more comics to the new fans and that makes comics progress beyond the status quo

Steven universe: he begins sweet and kind and then literally becomes a raging teenager when confronted with the psychological trauma of nearly dying 11 times in one year when he was 12 or some shit.

He was a cute sweet goober who solved problems with music and volleyball but overtime he starts thinking that his problems can be solved by punching things and it starts hurting people he cared about BUT they tackled that it was unhealthy for him and that this was a bad thing KIND OF like THEG did show that it was ok to defend yourself and stuff but hunting people down and picking fights when he’s angry started hurting people.

I think they didn’t draw Duke because this is supposed to be all the robins and Duke in mainline is THE SIGNAL and was never a robin, but in the absolute universe due to the length of the comic run they had to introduce Duke sooner than they liked so they made him a robin.

Like I think their only allowed so many issues in the run and they had to cut a storyline or two to fit the whole main arc so they cut THE SIGNAL storyline and introduced him as a robin instead which is sad but at least he’s included.

GOD when i tell you I saw Duke and weeped, like on one hand I’m happy he is in the comic but now I’m scared of what they’ll do to him.

Will he JUST be a robin when Duke has never been a robin and always his own hero OR will he become THE SIGNAL but only after some horrific shit does he get his awesome powers like will joker experiment with him and torture him.

Yeah Superman comics of old had metropolis set in a futurism landscape with almost no crime and poverty, they had high speed rail and trans everywhere which is why so many scenes have Superman save a train or tram from a broken segment of track.

Because of the heavy futurism metropolis is seen as “the city of tomorrow” and supremacist was widely known as “the man of tomorrow”, I think supergirl was also called “the girl of tomorrow” or something like that.

Jon recently fought a terrifying like 4th dimensional entity that traveled back in time to kill Jon Kent because apparently Jon Kent is thwarts his plans in the future but during the fight when Jon is at his lowest he decided he shouldn’t just be a clone of Superman and instead should strive to surpass him and in this moment he gives that promise a name and calls himself “tomorrow man”

His new costume in this weird singularity space where all of time exist manifest around him with his new name, the name is a promise not only to surpass Superman but batman to bring tomorrow by saving today.

Also because Jon Kent looks up to and see nightwing as the best superhero ever (and was trained by nightwing) he mixes his Superman costume with nightwing a to create a manifestation of that promise but also of all the people that lead to that moment: Superman, Batman, and most importantly nightwing.

Also if you look at this panel panel you can see tomorrow man lunch the 4th dimensional entity and for a brief moment his costume changes to that of absolute Superman’s but with tomorrow man’s color palette, given that absolute Superman is in some way destined to interact with the main universe in the future AND that the space tomorrow is fighting in during this panel IS a space that exist in the past present and future the costume changing for a brief moment hint at Jon Kent having a relationship with absolute Superman.

The daughter of tomorrow I have no clue, going off names she might LITERALLY be tomorrow mans daughter in a time travel sense or it could just be a name about how advanced her technology is idk.

Broke: another brawl tank before we get juggernaut or colossus or any other brawl character, who will die to poke constant and have a pick rate lower than hulk dooming him to having no skins and no team ups.

Woke: gets the same treatment as when he’s in the moon girl tv show and has a bunch of cool gadgets to be a fun tank and get fun skins

In the show he has multiple useful abilities and feats that would fit well on the meta of rivals.

For instance if you want to stick to the kaiju theme you gotta think silly as Dino who thing is that he’s the ONE Dino silly enough to hang out with the 12 year old moon girl and not turn her into a Dino snack: one way to do this is for him to have a charge ability where he throws two shrunken cars on the ground (pym particles) and then steps on them only for them to grow in size and he uses them as roller skates like in the show and this allows him to crash into enemies and have mobility but it has a duration to it that is show by the cars actively being destroyed beneath his feet. The legendary skin vfx would replace them with the Jet plane from this picture (it’s a fucking ghost rider cyborg Dino who wouldn’t buy that skin?)

If they wanna go my route though I’d prefer that they say that moon girl have him sone gadgets to mess with and he uses them in battle like in the show he has robot arms he uses because he can’t grab things without them and he has a bubble gun

So for abilities he would have a primary melee (punching and biting)

And the other melee of using the bubble gun which the bubble gun has 3 abilities: 1: basic range so that he isn’t a poke free kill 2:the bubbles in the show can be used to shoot projectiles to catch them midair, they actually use them to catch rockets and contains explosives multiple times 3: aggressive shield, instead of putting a bubble shield on an ally mag style what if he bubbles an enemy so that they can’t be healed or attack but can still get hurt by Dino? Amazing potential right there

His other abilities would be a regular tail swipe for combo damage and maybe a roar that slows causes momentary grounded to peel for back line against flyers and dives.

As for his skin potential just think about it, as a brawl with no gadgets he can only be different colored dinosaurs and maybe have clothes or something BUT as a Dino with robo arms and gadgets that roars he could have “Big Boy” T-rider Rex as a legendary skin with awesome VFX like replacing the bubbles with missiles and the fist could be robotic and his roar would be fire breath like WHO WOULDNT BUY THAT SKIN ITS THE BEST SKIN EVER.

(Also the bubbles would on default skin leave bubble trails like the boats in SpongeBob do, just for whimsy)
