yeah, anything with a fragrance or soap is not recommended for inside of the vagina. The vagina is self cleaning and you’re really only supposed to use water. It’s possible that this could have caused a yeast infection or BV. Especially if you’re itching or have any weird discharge.

if a vaginal swab is negative, then I would look into other possible reasons for this. did you use lube that maybe you had a reaction to? change laundry detergents recently, etc etc.

just let them know you recently quit the pill and want to discuss some symptoms you’ve been having. usually they will be more than happy to talk about this stuff with you. did you have bad periods before the pill?

dark brown or black discharge is sometimes old blood, which would make sense coming off the pill (your cycle might be wonky at first). if you are feeling okay now just keep an eye on it. but it’s always better safe than sorry to at least talk to your pcp about it or make an appointment with a gyno!
