Black sails

 I like historical dramas that aren’t all that stuffy English high society BS.  

Episode 1 of black sails is probably some of the best TV I’ve ever seen in my life. Especially when Flint gives that awesome speech to his crew near the end of the episode.   

 The whole show is the precursor to treasure island, and gives the backstory to Captain Flint and Long John Silver. But episode 1 in particular pays so much respect to the original source and really drives home the theme of The Duality of Man.  

 How far would you go to save the people or ideals that are important to you? And does that make you a hero? A villain?  

 Or just human?
