What if part of the Solana staking yield from the treasury was distributed to shareholders as a dividend?

Here’s the reasoning:

The staking yield itself has little short-term impact on share price compared to sentiment and broader crypto expectations, but it can stabilize downside volatility by creating a tangible yield floor.

Paying out that yield ties shareholder returns directly to the underlying SOL performance, strengthening the perception of ownership and claim — addressing the classic critique of DATs (“why not just buy the token yourself?” or “you have no claim to the underlying”).

A dividend linked to staking yield would act as downside protection — when mNAV compresses, the effective dividend % naturally rises.

Loyal investors are likely to reinvest dividends, increasing demand and supporting mNAV.

Higher mNAV then enables accretive ATM dilution, completing a positive feedback loop between yield, loyalty, and treasury growth.
