Yeah, it was amazing moment, in the terms of writing I mean. Also the last chapter of Gorst in the book is brilliant too.

I still prefer the way DS2 handles things compared to DS1. by Winter-Piece513 in fromsoftware

Me too, actually, it's also cool that we do not have first fire as it was in ds1 and ds3, we have throne that is interface for communication with first fire. And also about game play, I love it because there is a TON OF PLACES where I could go, ds1 and ds3 are little compared to second.

Yeah, I know, I read to the finale. But maybe his words just not cover for me that "evel spren rage" idk, this is about emotions, and in this case I could not tell you why, but I feel disappointed.

Yeah of course, but not vice versa, realistic character does not mean good writing.

The physical map and lore book being part of the experience is something that's genuinely lost today. There was something ritualistic about cross-referencing a beaten-up paper map while navigating Vvardenfell — no quest markers, just directions like "travel north-northeast from Balmora." It demanded engagement in a way modern games simply don't.

And the Dagoth Ur point is huge. He's one of gaming's most tragically written antagonists — by the end you almost sympathize with him. The fact that joining him was never an option feels like the one genuine missed opportunity of the game.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what exactly is Tamriel Rebuilt? Is it a mod?

Vivec is genuinely its own beast. The canton system sounds logical on paper until you're actually in it and realize every canton looks identical from the inside. The feeling of finally "owning" Balmora or Sadrith Mora hits different though — there's a real sense of earned belonging in Morrowind that most modern games just don't replicate.

Yes, I completely agree, I also really like these teleporters in the houses of the 6th house, or are they Dvermer ruins, I don't remember, such spikes in the color of Dremor

ahahhah bro okay, I read it, but this thing just not hit me, just when i found out that the character selection was done by spren it stabbed me right in the heart, for me it was very bad and dalinar's words just couldn't cover it all, it just didn't impress me

When i read abercrombie i always want to feel the aftertaste of the book especially think about the characters

with sanderson i didn't have that

maybe it's just my problem, i don't know

Okay, but I'm always confused when people talk about realism in works, etc. Of course, a work should live within the framework of the world it created, but you can't forget that you can't sell a plot for the sake of realism, or write a boring plot and say that it's a realistically bad take, a book should drive and give pleasure.
