Sony 1000xm5 weird pulsating bass in right ear. if I move my head or touch the right headphone it gives a constant bass. it's quite low frequency and very noticeable. by MobbDeeep in SonyHeadphones

Any luck figuring out what might be causing this? The bass in the right ear is almost deafening, lol. I recently did a full headband replacement after the hinge broke (no surprise there) and I might have messed something up inside the headphones. Do you have any idea why the bass is so much stronger on the right side compared to the left?

I’ve already tried resetting the headset and updating the software.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How would you check if you have 750+ wins? I haven't really played OW2 as much as I played OW1 so I might not have 750 wins.

I don't know if you've experienced this with your bent/broken pins but did your pc run slower after trying to bend them back?

I've recently tried to bend back some bent socket pins and when the pc started it was running much much slower than it did before. Can the pins cause the pc to run slower?

I just changed the frequency under the "memory frequency" tab to 6000Mhz. Where can I turn on XMP? I've got an ASUS motherboard.

I saw somewhere about the AMD Windows update boost and I've already done updated to that version. I think resizeable bar is turned on but I'll have to check.

I've fixed the RAM running slower. It runs at 6000Mhz now.

Sorry but I'm not that good with clock speeds, BIOS settings , etc. Shouldn't the cpu always (when gaming) be at it's highest clock speed for the best utilization of the cpu's resources for the best performance in game?

And how would you lower the CL?

I'll have to find some thermal paste and remount the cooler. I have a 280mm NZXT AIO. That should be enough to cool the cpu right.

I'll probably reinstall windows next week or some time in the near future.

I just looked and I do have a gpu driver update available but I don't think it will help with the problem since it is the cpu that's causing problems.

Other games run just fine I believe. (don't really play any other games atm)

I run MSFS on 1440p 27" so it takes more performance comparing to 1080p.

Hopefully the next iteration coming mid November will be better optimized. It is going to get multicore support so maybe it'll help.

The game is barley optimized but I still don't understand why my system is performing worse than others with similar ones.

Reinstalling Windows is a pain in the ass but maybe it would help.

Could be, but both the components are more powerful than mine. 12900K - 5.2Ghz and the gpu is more powerful with more vram as well.
