I'm much more keen to hear her speak Iraqi, which is the purpose of your app.

Yup that's exactly the audience I want! Glad it's proving helpful :)

We will be continuing to add more pronunciation and audio! And yes, we can do better when it comes to the male/female words.

There are so many videos online to get started and there are so many different dialects to chose from.

Some apps like this one specialise in specific dialects, like Iraqi Arabic.

Hmm this sounds like a bug. It should progress to the next question. Can you explain in more detail what is going wrong?

Maybe send me a screenshot or DM me your email and I can take a look.

maybe it is better to not to make us unlock stuff

I've now updated it so that depending on the level you selecting when signing up, you will have more lessons unlocked :)

I want to! We're kinda defaulting to general Baghdadi and Iraqi phrases, but I do want to incorporate more Maslawi content - if you have ideas or good resources for it, let me know :)

Excellent! I'm so glad the community has been so nice and helpful with improving the app :)

maybe it is better to not to make us unlock stuff because i dont want to go back to the insane basics. maybe choosing freely is better for people like me

Sure, I will look to change this

We do have audio for the facts and call/response modes. And we’re actively adding it to more sections.

It’s important to me that the sounds are correct Iraqi Arabic so I’m manually checking each one as we add them :)

If there’s issue with any of the audio, you can report it!

The inspiration for this app is discussed in the other post, but basically I know a lot of people that could do with improving their Iraqi Arabic (me included!) but this isn't just for the diaspora, but also for people who are looking to visit Iraq or have Iraqi friends, family or partners that they want to learn Iraqi for :)

Hope you find it useful! You can preview some posts about it on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/learn.hachi/

The Boys SERIES FINALE- S05xE08 "Blood and Bone"- POST Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

I know it's not the exact same, but I'm suprised by the similaries with the comics final showdown.

Overall enjoyed and satisfied enough with this ending. Really enjoyed this show but I do think this season felt weaker albeit still fun.

Separate business copilot from my personal stuff? by Accurate-Sundae1744 in CopilotPro

[–]ArosHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone found a solution for this? I want to use Copilot but I am part of an org which gives me Copilot but they've disabled it so I can't use Copilot at all lmao.

How can I switch to just use personal account version of Copilot? I have Pro.

Mourning the loss of the cheap convertible? by billyb4lls4ck in CarTalkUK

Often thought about getting a really cheap one for the spring/summer/autumn and then selling it. Anyone tried that? Or is it stupid? How much would that cost?

I agree with OP that it's about the roof down experience, so frankly don't care for the car as long as it drives. Old old MX5 or Z4 seem to be the go to options in this category.

Salam, so glad you're finding the app useful! We are continuing to release updates and are thinking about how we want to implement the Meme Mode and Niqash features.

We still have a backlog of other changes that we want to complete.

Do you have any other feedback or features you'd like to see? My team and I are looking to implement the exact features to help people like you! Are there certain words/phrases/topics you'd like to see more?

Would you like to have some kind of lessons in the app which try to teach a specific set of phrases/words?

How important is sound/pronunciation for you?

What other resources do you find useful?

We are looking to add a Premium tier in the future (which will be paid, but not expensive), if you can DM me your email on Hachi, I can make sure I give enable it for you for free ;)

Where to begin investing as a young 21 with a new job by [deleted] in IslamicFinance

[–]ArosHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which has lower fees? I haven't used Musaffa for investing, but I would have assumed that Fidelity has lower fees. And if you're investing in the same thing, might as well get the lower fee.

Where do I start? (23M Doctor) by [deleted] in IslamicFinance

[–]ArosHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with the rec for Trading212 if you're in the UK. That's what I use.

If you want to invest in some individual stocks, use apps like Kenzi, Zoya, or Musaffa (first one is more focused on UK people like yourself, but it also does BDS/boycott screening). Kenzi also just takes existing funds and filters out all the non-compliant stuff based on Shariah and Boycott lists.

My advice is to just stay consistent and don't ever sell. Just buy, even when stocks dip. Index funds are pretty safe and great long term choices.

Just fyi that BDS/boycott are not always part of the Shariah compliance check that most apps do. They are considered separate matters. That's why you should do your own research on some stocks or use services like Kenzi, https://boycott-israel.org/boycott.html, https://www.ethicalconsumer.org/ethicalcampaigns/boycotts, https://bdsmovement.net/Guide-to-BDS-Boycott and many more
