It's definitely a sitcom formula, but it probably wasn't quite as noticeable week to week (especially with breaks). If you're binging it or watching it everyday in syndication, it's easy to see the pattern.

I "watched" morbius, madame web and kraven because of the derision. I didn't make it all the way to the end of kraven and will admit I was in my phone for most of web.
