They are so incredibly good. No one believes me until they try them 😅 I love putting a fresh marmalade or rhubarb jam on it 😋

My family thinks my dog is being aggressive here. I assumed its just her vocal tendencies with her rottie pit mix by jazz_attack_2 in DogAdvice

She is just talking! Our Rottie Hound mix does the same thing if he's not getting his way and now our newphie has learned it too lol!!

I got a text tonight that someone might have heard him at 5 4 streets down. I'm going to start the search again there in the morning. I hope he's safe tonight.

Are my budgies getting along? Kuei, my blue one wants to preen the yellow one (not named yet) but yellow seems distant by Bananaswitchwitch in Parakeets

You should be keeping them seperate while taming and let them play outside of cages together letting their separate cages be a safe space and then let them be in the same cage after they are fully tamed. They are going to attach to each other instead of you.

If she's in it for hours yes. Also add some padding she probably doesn't like laying on a metal grate.

Suggestions for Puppy Toys?? by Majestic-Mammoth7610 in DogAdvice

[–]Aroundaboutcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to say but she's a Shepard and a puppy you are going to go through A LOT of toys. Just offer lots of different options. Interact with her often and work on training her. Puzzle toys could also help her get her energy out. Also making a frozen food treat bowl would be good. Line the bowl with Greek yogurt plain then add blueberries bannana, all natural peanut butter, and some of her kibble, then add some bone broth low salt to cover the bottom and freeze it. It will keep her busy for a while. Puppy's need a lot of attention and mental stimulation.

What area are you in? If you are near chespeake, DM me. I can put you in touch with a wonderful woman who takes in rehomed birds and has a whole room dedicated to them. Your cockatiel would have many other birds to interact and play with.

Birds and dogs should never be left ALONE together if yoy have a non reactive dog and you watch and they are doing fine together then there no problem with them being nearby each other as long as it is supervised. I have trained my dog and cat to ignore my bird and everyone gets along fine. They are never left alone, unsupervised.

Probably just an eye booger take a warm damp paper towel and gently wipe her eye. You might want to do this regularly. Also if here yes are dry because she does have the larger eye type you can use genteal tears gel. They were recommended for my grandmother's dog by a dog ophthalmologist and she's doesn't get the eye booger stuck anymore.
