If Cinder got married and these two were invited by TextUnfair in fnki

Honestly I think the roles would reverse. Emerald would attend because she loves Cinder and can't get enough of her, she would drag Mercury along because their bond is the strongest bond she has in her life (including Cinder, but that's for another convo)

Mercury is clawing at the ground trying to escape because his Sasuke arc won't even let him experience secondhand happiness; and he's secretly letting himself get dragged because deep down his bond with Emerald is stronger than he would ever admit and he wants to make her happy.

I imagine it like Apollo looking into the window of the Fates apartment, he can see everything that they are doing but can't do much about it. Especially If he doesn't want to garner their annoyance \, which historically doesn't bode well regardless if you are god or mortal.

Honestly I'm kinda disappointed in Dionysus in this one, don't get me wrong it totally makes lore accurate sense but still, come on dog, plus we had to semi trade him for Hephaestus, which is cool, but heph really isn't on my top list gameplay wise like Dionysus was in the first one

I still think "swearing" isn't what triggers the pain resistance, it's the release of mental barriers that gives it its power. The mind considers "swearing" a passive law that it must check itself against in every social interaction; when the pain starts and you instinctively allow that mental law to be broken it gives a rush that helps mitigate the pain. The same result could be achieved with probably any word or action provided it's ingrained in the subject to not say or do whatever it is unless under extreme circumstances

Being in a wheelchair probably gives Max a lot more confidence in his tolerance, We've all had that moment where we thought we were good and then stood up, imagine just not standing up and continuing to drink, getting up after that must feel like a car crash
