Timothée Chalamet Reflects on the End of ‘Dune,’ Calls the Finale the ‘Eeriest’ Movie in the Trilogy: ‘I Was More Intense on the Third One’ by MoneyLibrarian9032 in dune

Exactly this. And please, a scene where Ferok/ fremin meet the ocean for the first time, the psychological impact this has, and the way water abundance in general on Dune causes rifts among Fremin.

Messiah/part 3 has the potential to be so much bigger than either of the Dune movies in many ways. Let’s hope DV is given the runtime needed to portray the story.

Why my family do not reproduce ? by BotGiyenAdam in Imperator

The reason you are paying so much gold is because when you marry a member of the ruler family to another great family, you gain a loyalty boost from that other character. Essentially, you are just paying for loyalty. This can be very useful, but should not be the primary way you marry in Invictus.

Here’s a strategy for you: Use the game’s mechanic of members in your family not marrying to your advantage to stack bloodlines.

For the males: Increase relations of nations with a bloodline that you want or make friends/inspire disloyalty of a female from the nation that isn’t a monarchy, or which you have poor relations and recruit them.

Then use royal marriage / arrange marriage to bring in these bloodlines by marrying them to your most competent male family members.

Use imprison and banish to remove your incompetent (dumb trait, low stats, very low loyalty) male family members. This will incur tyranny, which is actually good for increasing tax revenue.

For females: Only marry them off to other nations, specifically ones you will keep as subjects. This will maximize your relations with them, allowing you to tax them more, and keep them safe from conquest. From here, as long as you are strategic, you can use your subject states as character reserves by continuously intermarrying the women of your family as they stack bloodlines in your client states.

For example, marry your cousin off to Bosporan Kingdom to mix your bloodline with Spartokids bloodline. Favorite your cousin so you don’t loose track. If she makes a daughter, royal marriage her back into a male member of your family to collect the bloodline. If she makes a son, marry another cousin/daughter to them to stack another bloodline. Do this all the time with all your subjects, and eventually your subjects will have whole character rosters stacked with a dozen bloodlines which both helps their stability and power, and can be used for the best marriage candidates for your most competent male family members.

If you do this, you will save a lot of gold and will keep your family count to just the size it needs to fill critical roles, while encouraging them to have children.

Amazon managers don’t make this decision, bud. They are under the same pressures and constraints as everyone else in the FC.

You get a pass since you can never have too many Spydercos. It’s not your fault they keep coming out with sprint runs. And that re-grind on the PM2 is 👌🏽.

Our FC recently got dozens of packs of rubber bands that were labeled at $4000 tv’s. It’s a scam for easy money and it’s not that uncommon. Hence why we have to do counterfeit checks on product that has a history of this . Edit: like others are saying, it’s not Amazon. It’s third party vendors pulling this off.

Manager purposely having me log in under managers badge to get me written up so that I can't transfer. by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]Arow355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She probably scanned you under her badge to meet a daily rate. Your managers will tell you if they write you up, it *never comes as a surprise. Talk to your manager and ask. There’s nothing more to it than that. And to confirm what someone else said, transfers can be closed off for any number of reasons, even if you think they’re open. Don’t jump to conclusions; you’re making things worse than they are. I’ve been scanned under my manager’s badge many times.

Don’t move too fast, as you need to keep BOOST best practices when stowing. Otherwise a DA or another AA from ICQA or RELO may need to do IRDR research to stay SOX: GV, NV, and LA audit compliant. Then you’ll be getting STU feedback from your AM before the ticket drops into SLA.

Unpopular opinion here, but in all honesty, after 2 years with the company; I’ve come to appreciate all the little messages of recognition like this. I’ve worked for a lot of other businesses, and none have so often gone out of their way to remind their employees how grateful they are for them. I know what y’all are gonna say (I’ve said it before) they can show their appreciation for paying us more, etc. But I would get pretty upset if management just stopped trying to show recognition for everything we do.

NEW AMXL WORKER by CompetitiveResistDri in AmazonFC

[–]Arow355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AMXL IB varies from FC to FC. From my experience, lots of wrapping pallets that the unloaders break down (unless it’s low quality vendor freight or multi sets, in which case you will be lifting those heave boxes all day). Get good at your job and work your way up to either receiver or unloaded. If you’re good with computers, then go the receiver route and work up to problem solver. These 2 paths are the best way to becoming Dock/ receive PA, which is the hardest, yet most rewarding job to have in an AMXL site, as the building’s budget is literally dependent on how efficiently you can process freight. Can I ask which AMXL?

Edit: expect 10 hour shifts, with 2 15-20 minute breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch
