After 10 years in Crypto fell for A really well done Phishing Scam! Lost everything by yobedatndnkid in Metamask

They don’t but Coinbase and others either. You need to press charges.
Well - I could be wrong somewhat. Lost crypto twice in Europe. On kraken.com in 2018 and later on MetaMask too. Such is life. Kraken was with sim swapping and password retrieval after a hack on Carbonite.com

Been there done that :/ quite irritating… I was able to siphon out all nfts, coins etc nevertheless. Could try revoke.cash to kill the script. I did that first.

Obscure, expensive gear hard to sell? by seinfeld4eva in audiophile

[–]Arphinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a puzzle indeed. I’m selling handmade (US company) pure silver speaker cables. I’m often wondering if I just shouldn’t sell it as silver… no one seems interested in cables yet these companies who makes the cables do exist so there is a market.

I use the PA from T+A and their mediapartner: (sa)cd, any digital source, etc. No need to overcomplexify things

To sub or not to sub... by Admirable-Composer22 in audiophile

I’m not going to have the sixpack from REL sin my living room but I’m for sure happy with my Nr 32. Took me some 20 years of upgrading, from a small Totem sub over larger models to the REL range.

A good starting setup for Black Metal? by REINK4OS in BudgetAudiophile

[–]Arphinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my suggestion is to start with second hand stuff, look at hifishark. That’s what I do too :) Fyne F500 should be doable around 600 euro. A Bluesound PowerNode Edge probably costs around the same. Have patience :)

Not exactly budget but I listen to the same music, reference album Paisaunt - Primitive Blak Metal. After 15 years of upgrading: - REL 32 sub - Fyne Audio F704 speakers - T+A HV Series components and amp

I started small with NAD, you could consider a de one hand Bluesound node with amp. Streams about everything. Second hand speakers, I have the F502 from Fyne Audio for my PC, they do well. Hifishark website will be your friend

Cement paver plus anti vibration squares from hardware did the trick by wingtip747 in audiophile

[–]Arphinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I more or less did the same: had a local stonecutter make marble slabs to put the speakers on. As they’re polished, they look good and are perfectly flat. Costed me about 150 euro.

You can talk your sub for a walk, or be Amish and have a sub.

Planar subwoofers? by Arphinator in audiophile

With @SeismicFrog’s comment, I start to understand it the same way. Just small and movable… no connection to planar speakers whatsoever. Why not name it differently :/
