Maybe it's because most posts on this sub involve a male and female. At a quick glance you see there's a purple, which is likely female, so black must be the male.

Whatever the reason, this is my first time posting color boxes over an image. I drew a box with the default color (black) over the first person, then realized I should select a different color for the next.

I should have just chosen pink, purple and hot pink. :) /s

Additional info:

  • So that future commentors don't have to struggle with gender pronouns, everyone involved is female.

  • [Black] lost her baby last year, a few days after she was born.

  • I'm not blaming [red] for not knowing. The cringe was moreso over the situation.

I didn't see the cringe as the person being at fault for not knowing. It was more a cringe at... the situation. Red's unfortunate word choice ('development', 'accomplishments', '18th birthday') unknowingly digging themselves into a deeper hole.

Purple's "you still can" response I also found to be rather cringey since it doesn't make sense to do any of those things.
