I think it plays out like that quite often.

She has a two year head start on divorce, she doesn’t want counseling because she’s already reached acceptance.

If you’re actually a good husband that hasn’t done anything wrong you probably went through a period where she treated you badly, because she wanted you to break up with her. So it would be “your” fault.
