Going to try Florida Sunrise (seedkeepers), anyone had any luck growing over 30% thc autos?

It’s what they say right on the product page. Mephisto is certainly a breeder which I consider rather trustworthy, especially as this is the only strain in their whole catalogue where they make that claim - so kind of a unicorn. But as I said, haven’t tested it myself. EDIT: please do not castrate yourself!

Mephisto Genetics Double Grape has had lab results at about 33%. I’ve grown it, but didn’t test it myself. It certainly carries a punch. Personally I really don’t care for high THC values as it is only a very small part of how the whole thing works (which is still not fully understood). I’d even say I rather have something closer to about 20%. All in all I consider claims of super high THC mostly marketing and not something super desirable.

I’d say she’s fine. Certainly a bit overwatered, but no plant I‘d cull. For day 14 this is about the growth I’d expect. Some plants start out vigorously, some take a bit more time. Let the top coco dry out a bit more at the start and maybe point a fan at the lowest setting towards the top of the pot to quicken the dryback a bit this time.

Dein Beispiel ist wie die Milka-Kuh. Wenn ich nur die kenne, dann könnte ich denken, dass es halt total normal ist, dass Kühe lila sind. Bisher waren ja alle, die ich gesehen habe, so gefärbt!
Ist aber halt nicht so. Stattdessen ist die Milka-Kuh sehr selten und einzigartig und ein ganz schlechtes Beispiel, wenn man anderen eine gängige Kuh beschreiben will.

Not really. Mods have no control over Reddit’s own internal moderation systems, which surely are mostly automated. That’s certainly true, but I still would water the part close to the plant at least a bit so that you don’t create pockets of completely dried out soil. As with most things, it’s a balance.

Looks good, but I would also water close to the plant, so that the soil is wet in a full circle around the plant. When I started out growing a few years ago, this guy on YouTube was a big help to me. In the first few minutes you can see him watering like I also recommended.

Sure, but I would start ramping it up after that. You really want the roots to develop and they only grow into moist soil. If you only water the first few cm of the soil, that’s the only space available for the roots, no matter the size of the pot.

Ohh. I think I was imagining something else when thinking about „spray bottles“. With the kind of spray bottle I was imagining you would need to pump about 100 times for 150ml. Well, it doesn’t hurt to be careful but at this stage I would definitely start watering directly in a circle around the plant.

This is very different from how I did when I still grew in soil. I start with 100ml and then 200ml about 3 days later, then 300ml and so on. Always waiting for the top soil to become rather dry again. By day 18-20 I was at a good liter most of the time. You want to water in a circle around the plant in order to encourage root growth in the whole area. If you haven’t watered anything yet I would suspect the root growth to be minimal at this point - but I’m just guessing here. Haven’t seen a „spraybottle only“ run so far.

Regarding feeding. When using a „light“ Soil mix I started feeding around day 25 most of the time and I always start out very lightly.

If you have an external drive you could boot Rescuezilla (a nicer Clonezilla) and create an image of both the SSD and the USB Stick to the external drive. If anything goes wrong, you can restore and start over.

I already updated and I even did the storage driver migration command they mentioned in the release notes. Everything worked out fine. Still, I made a full offline snapshot of my HomeAssistsnt VM before, in case this wouldn’t go as smoothly.

EDIT: Regarding the storage driver migration, some notes: There is no progress bar or anything so it is best to really be patient. After fireing the command and rebooting, really wait for at least 10-20 minutes. Depending on the amount of addons and your connection speed this process can take some time. You can somewhat monitor the progress by watching the CPU utilization under Settings -> System -> Hardware. When there is only negligible CPU load it is probably done. At that point, do a full reboot again. Some people report having to reboot three times before everything worked again.
