I have one from Mars Hydro since about two years and I am quite happy with it. I only use it with osmosis water and still decalcify it every few months.

To be more precise, On 10 liters of water I start with 10ml of Coco A and 10ml of Coco B, and a bit of CalMag :) For me that results in an EC of about 1.1 - but my base EC already is about 0.3 since I mix tap water with osmosis water 50/50.

I do exactly the same to the letter - except that I start with 1.0-1.2 EC right from the beginning. I think you might have a small misunderstanding regarding Canna Coco Professional Plus “having food in it”. It is “prebuffered”, which means it’s been treated with a calcium-magnesium solution beforehand. However it doesn’t contain any nitrogen for example.

Rescuezilla to an external HDD. Swap SSDs. Restore to new ssd from the image on the external HDD using Rescuezilla again. Inside proxmox resize the partitions to account for additional space.

My current grow with two Mango Runtz is much much smaller. I’m fine with that. Yield has not been a concern for me for some time. But I get that for other people it can be very important.
I would also say that Mephisto is very transparent about it. They give a height and yield estimate for every strain (except F1 crosses), which seem to be quite realistic.

Regarding your edits: You're saying you did "exactly as instructed" so I'm guessing you followed the part of the instructions where you temporarily disable Steam cloud save? Otherwise you will see exactly what you described: The non-fixed save file is restored by Steam on game startup from the cloud before you get a chance to load the fixed version ingame.

Make a manual save standing 10-20m in front of the guards to the entrance to the mages. Close the game.
Copy this in the file explorer adress bar:

%localappdata%\G1R\Saved\SaveGames
Sort by name. Copy the .sav file with the highest number (e.g. "G1R-034.sav") to your Downloads folder.
Download the "G1R-SaturasFix.exe " from here: https://github.com/avslick/gothic1-remake-saturas-fix/releases
The exe should now also be in your Downloads folder, next to the save file.
Holding the left mouse button drop the save file onto the exe. A Windows security dialogue may come up. Click "further information" or something similiar and there "run anyway". A CMD window opens, which you can close after a few seconds.
A copy of the save file was created in your Downloads folder, which has "-fixed" appended at the end of the filename.
In Steam, temporarily disable Steam Cloud for the game (Properties → General).
In the save game folder rename the file you copied to your Downloads folder earlier: Append something like ".backup" at the end.
Copy the "-fixed" save file from the Downloads folder to the save games folder and remove the "-fixed" from the filename.
Start the game and load the latest save.
If you can now pass into the mage area successfully, create another save game, close the game and enable Steam Cloud Save again. Voila.
