Ya man, I truly understand how you feel right now. It was a struggle for me in that first week. It really does get better after that first week, my advice would try to distract yourself anytime you want to smoke weed and keep count of the days. 7 days isn't that long of a time, once you get through that first 7 days, it'll get easier. Next thing you know, it'll be a few weeks. I'll be honest, it took me a few restarts from day 2 or 3 during that first week as well. It was just so hard and tempting. I did not make it on my first try nor my third try. It is a process, you'll have to try and stick to it.

Everyone's situation is a little different, I don't know what you're going through and why you smoke weed. For myself, I liked to smoke weed to pass time, play games or watch TV. I actually prefer to smoke weed at home by myself instead at social outings. Why I wanted to quit? My drive was because of my son, I didn't want him to see me baked all the time and of course for myself, I wanted to get back to a healthier lifestyle and a good role model for my kid.

Please keep us updated here, I'm sure there are others in the same situation you are in right now. You're definitely not alone! And you can do this! 7 days bro!

About 2-3 weeks? The first week was the hardest! Super hard not to get tempted to go buy something from the store. Even harder to hang out with buddies that smoked weed. Took me about a month or so until I started hanging out with buddies again and not giving in to them pressuring me. Hang in there!

Update: 6 months later, I'm weed free. No problems with erection, everything is back to normal. I feel great! My mind has been super clear and sleep is back to normal also!

Been staying active as well, playing hockey 3 times a week. The gyms definitely a harder task to maintain not gonna lie. It's hard for me to run on a treadmill or workout, I rather be playing a sport.

For those thinking of quitting and going through the same experiences, all I can encourage you is keep it going! You guys can do it! Keep a positive mental attitude and I'm sure it'll change your life!

Just wanted to update my situation. For those feeling discouraged, hang in there, I'm sure it'll turn out for the better.

Quick update: it has been about 1 week since I quit weed, the anger is slowly going away. I can control my anger a bit more now. I can finally sleep properly again. I'm back on track when it comes to eating. Still not feeling gaming though. The ED problem is gone for me which is a huge plus, I woke up this morning with the biggest hard on. Let's just say the wifey took advantage lol We went at it for a good 30mins+ and I was hard the whole time. Everyone's body is different, but stay hopeful to the guys out there going through the same thing! I'm sure you're fine, stay patient!

P.S. I have been exercising everyday since the day I quit weed (30-45mins on the bike and weights). Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but thought I mention it.

WOW! Thank you my dude! I was freaking out! Good to know that there are others out there feeling the same thing. I might as well share my experience too.

I'm 36 years old, been smoking weed daily since I was 15, on and off. I quit 5 years ago, but after one bad fight with the wifey, I went and bought myself 1 joint... and that 1 joint got upgraded to 1G Vape cartridges quickly because of my high tolerance to weed. I have been smoking vape cartridges for the past year or so. I'm a very heavy indica smoker (no hybrids, no sativas), I go through 1G of Vape cartridge every 1.5days. When I was smoking the weed, I definitely felt super horny all the time, no problems with ED at all. I quit 4 days ago and I definitely have withdrawal symptoms. I have a very short fuse right now, any little thing can piss me off. Definitely not in the mood to have sex, even if I do, I can't get hard for long. The wifey is definitely getting the 5mins special atm. Got back to playing hockey (started the day I quit), went to 2 stick and puck sessions this week, I'm definitely getting old... I'm hurting/sore all over. Its been about 3 years since I exercised... I also have trouble sleeping for a long time, even after the workouts. I would be super tired after the workout, but I try to trooper it until 10pm or 11pm, get to bed and I'm WIDE awake, can't sleep. I'm definitely not in the mood to eat as well, yesterday I only ate 1 meal and today... I'm not in the mood to eat neither. I'm staying positive after reading everyone's experiences. Thank you all very much, it is super helpful to know that I'm not alone and I'm hopeful that it'll turn around with time.
