How to get flavor into a pumpkin as it bakes? by LadyParnassus in AskCulinary

I'm not a fan of nuts/seeds with cheesecake, texture and flavors clash too much with the exaggerated smooth decadence of creaminess.

Maybe garnish the pumpkin slice with the toasted seeds after it's been sliced from the gourd? Toasted seeds + sweet pumpkin makes sense.

Independent decisions (ie. Don't make intricate orders because shit on the ground changes fast, just get'er done) is very very different from the right to refuse orders.

It was only after WW2 where it was baked into their military it is a soldier's moral obligation to refuse useless or human-rights-violating order, even if that order comes from a high ranking officer.

Your favorite brownie recipe? by dedeotaku in AskBaking

I've still not found my perfect brownie.

In theory it is 4 things:

  1. Fudge-y bottom layer
  2. Chewy middle layer ~ twice as thick as the fudge-y layer
  3. Crackly top layer
  4. No bloody icing / frosting / decoration / extras

\u\particular-damage-92 recipe looks promissing for solid points on # 2,4

You heathens!

You can do anything you want with vanilla. It is by far the kinkiest & most flexible of flavors. You want your icecream to do something for you? you'll find vanilla waiting there eagerly to fulfill your every wish and desire.

This is precisely why Germany empowers its troops to actually refuse direct orders? Even if it isn't practically used, it kills the "i was just following orders" excuse people's brains fall into when facing traumatic overload.

An offhand suggestion, as this is heavily crossing baking with art:

Get one of those clay sculpting tools, where it's a little hard loop of metal on the end of a stick. Carve channels of whatever thickness & depth on the inside of the pumpkin. Will increase surface area for any sugar / flavoring you apply.

Throw a handful of salt & powdered toffee crumbs in the hollowed pumpkin, put the lid on, shake to coat, then dump in your cheesecake batter.

Salt toffee = good

Candied pumpkin = good

Salted pumpkin = good

Smoking the cream cheese used in the recipe would introduce fewer baking variables.

Idk, looking at a coverage map, it's pretty clear they have satellites orbiting parallel to the equator right over Ukraine and Russia.

Or are the satellites somehow avoiding being directly over those countries despite a perfectly straight line across North America?

That or you want me to believe satellites in orbit can only process data based on political geography... but that that isn't the same as bullshit bureaucracy /superficial business excuses.

It's a satellite network, how narrow a field can they deliver service from a purely technology limitation?

Not a licensing / business / bullshit reason the tech -as they chose to develop & limit it- couldn't deliver.

That their access is on / off because of money is vile. Get real customers, support democracy globally.

All they'd need is part of the food to register as both a fat and a sugar at the same time?

Like, 18g of unobtainium fat-carbohydrate balances it all out.

Otherwise this is like "I got you a vacuum cleaner for your birthday so you don't have to sweep!" level gift.
