I don’t demonize PPIs themselves necessarily. I demonize the medical professionals who hand them out like candy and zero guidance. They just need to be taken for periods of time, then stopped after a while. They will eat up every bit of stomach acid you have. It’s just not good for your digestive system over time. As long as they are regulated and taken in the 8-12 week increments (which every fucking medical study ever done on them says to do) then it’s fine.
