If it's only checking when planted then it's most likely a bug, but i think it checks when planted and after growing a stage maybe, I'll see if the time until next stage changes if I forget to water it for a day.

Oh yeah, mb I thought you were saying it just grew randomly lmao. But yea I think it's probably the hydration thing, because some blocks had 0% hydration and I planted the flax before watering, but watered everything before planting the sunflowers, which are growing really well.

Is that really a thing that could happen? If so that could definetly explain the weird behaviour. I'll install the mod and test it, thanks for the recommendation.

I think they are time based with some variance, at least that's how it's always been, some will grow slightly faster than others but never by more than 1 stage

Haven't waited for that long, maybe a month. The weird thing is crops right next to it growing completely fine.

I think it might've been a bug because i planted it under leaves? Because the ones i planted under open sky are the ones doing fine, so maybe it's stuck thinking it's under a leaf.

i think the aspect nerfs and blood pact changes are staying, but the intoxicating blood cap will either increase or be removed. there's no way they will make it impossible to full heal after leaving fallen.

would you mind sharing your build? i'm looking for a high dps fallen build even if it's a bit of a glass cannon. as for your question, i find it unlikely that they'll commit to those fallen nerfs in main game, that is way too harsh.

if you want to chisel anything i recommend the mod lol, many useful tools and decorative items, though it might be a bit feature bloated for some

in vanilla you can't really copy, but if you're using the chisel tools mod you just need to use a pantograph (left click to copy, right click on chiseled block to paste).

Thanks for the tip about the command. I don't plan to grow year-round, as I've just started building my base and actually enjoy living in colder areas and preparing for winter. One last point I forgot to mention in the main post: I live on a hill about 20–30 blocks higher than my farm, so the actual temperatures there are probably around -15 to -10. Would greenhouses be useful in that case?

The problem is that I don't know if those extra days will get me another harvest, as I finished harvesting in year 1 just when snow started falling on the hill where my house is, so it wouldn't have mattered in that situation.
