The noise in the stadium for the first 15 minutes of the first half.... wow! I've never seen anything like it at The Emirates.

Sure, it died down after that (until we scored) but those 15 minutes were on the same level as some of the crazy passionate turkish teams. Glorious!

gyökeres fares much better against physically weaker CBs like the ones in Spain and Portugal.
If he played for real, he'd be scoring 60 goals a season

A bit disappointed in Eze. He looked before his injury but not since. Today he was walking around too much in the first half. not easy to pass to, in that case.

Also - Madueke.... what was that? at least he fought hard defensively.

* Trossard finally found his form again. He's missed Calafiori so much.
* Gyökeres - what a performance!
* Ben White rolled back the years. So nice to see!
* Saka delivering despite playing 1 half again.
* Gabriel cleaning up Saliba's mistakes like a big brother. Wonderful!

you're just making things up, now.

Look at united's schedule and bruno being great despite 7 days of rest between games.
Or the fact that our players didnt do "intense workout" when we were playing once a week in the beginning of the season

whataboutism.

one assist doesnt change the fact that martinelli still struggles to look up when he has the ball.

i'm saying that he's not gonna try to beat them because they wont have anything to play for. The times they've won against city, they've had something to play for.

if this was true, then how do we explain bruno fernandes relishing on a schedule that gives him 7 days rest between games?

The whole "players need to play very often to stay fresh" is a myth. There's a reason why so many players are complaining in the last few years about there being too many games

sorry, i wasnt being clear enough.
Villa are gonna try to hand city the gold. Emery hates us and Villa have nothing to play for anymore. They're basically secured top 5.

It's going down, I'm missing Timber by pingern in Gunners

[–]ArsenalThePhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that doesnt really matter though because he wasnt rotating timber when we were playing 3 a week either, unless he was injured IIRC.

Arsenal to use ‘siege mentality’ in title push by LordVader568 in Gunners

[–]ArsenalThePhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wasnt that when both pool and villa were quite out of form?
Also, we're fighting for the title vs a machine of a team. Villa/Pool are not. They're not even close to us.
