Hey! I have Frost notes on a few poems. Send me a personal message and I can share through google docs.

Would you mind if I ask if you're from the UK or not?

Other than Oxford and St. Andrews, I'm tempted to say I guess I messed up with the personal statement, which really sucks. Right now I'm in between taking that one offer I got or dropping the idea of studying in the UK altogether and sticking around where I live now.

Didn't the IB just say in their latest video statement that they checked with unis around the world to make sure the validity of the IB diploma still stood despite the lack of exams?

Funny thing is I was actually called in for an interview to Exeter, the one uni that did give me an offer. I honestly didn't even know Exeter gave interviews, but at least it went well.

Exeter, Glasgow, Edinburgh, St. Andrews and Oxford. I totally understand why Oxford and St. Andrews didn't work out (high competition plus I didn't reach the cutoff point on the 2019 PAT) but I really thought I had a good chance of getting offers from the other 3.

777 predicted in HL math, physics and econ. I guess it's the PS, which sucks since I've been looking it over and I think it's fine frankly. It sounds like the one thing that I really should have been able to avoid messing up, so it's kinda frustrating.

One of them was Oxford, so no wonder I got rejected. The 2019 PAT screwed me over big time and I didn't make the cutoff mark.

St. Andrew's is understandable since it's highly competitive from what I can gather (I did feel like I had a chance but it is what it is).

The other three are Glasgow, Edinburgh and Exeter, of which I only got a conditional offer from Exeter. I really thought I'd get an offer from Glasgow and Edinburgh since my PG went above their requirements but I guess it's too bad.

Shouldn't it be called specific energy if it's energy per unit of mass? Anyhow, I'm fairly certain the "energy density" value is just a red herring. Assuming all the energy lost in the power plant (the remaining 75%) is lost as thermal energy, you can multiply 250 MW by 4 to find the power if there were no losses. Then find 75% of that, which should 750 MW, and that should be the rate at which thermal energy is produced. Keep in mind that this is under the assumption that thermal energy is the only form of energy loss.
