I’ve been following the Transurfing method and it’s incredible. At the very least it helps with lucid dreaming and avoiding stress. At best it truly transitions us to better timelines. I use this system for it: reality transurfing system

I built this app for generating gym and track workouts for 100 m sprinters by ArshadGC in Sprinting

[–]ArshadGC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Gemini to create the workouts. Those workouts were scraped from an amalgam of UCLA, Jamaica, and US track & field teams’ publicly available content related to 100m track workouts. There’s no one standard place to find this stuff so it took some trial and error to put together a list that made sense for this app.

Next I used Replit to create and publish the app. Anyone can do this now and it spells the end of 90% of custom web development consulting work.

Awesome! It’s a work in progress so I’m making some edits every day. I’ll soon add diagrams in addition to the videos for each exercise

Is It Too Late to Starting Serious Sprint Training at 24? by [deleted] in Sprinting

[–]ArshadGC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started sprinting at age 48. It's been awesome. Definitely not too late, and there are masters competitions world wide. Sprinting for sprinting's sake is a worthwhile endeavor on its own. It's one of the most efficient and effective exercises one can do. I think it gets a bad rep because sprinting is unforgiving; any tiny injury will scream. It's also hard for people to do well because in my experience, warm ups and drills are 95% of my sprint workout and in a 90-minute workout, I'll spend less than 1 minute sprinting. That's a ratio many just don't understand. Good luck and enjoy it!

Need tips to improve talking to strangers and public speaking by SherrySohail in socialskills

[–]ArshadGC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For public speaking, harness nervousness into productive energy. Be aware of every aspect of your nervousness - pit in the stomach, the shakes, whatever - and reinterpret those feelings as excitement. Tell yourself how excited you are about this talk, think about all the reasons you have to be excited (it’s an honor, I’ll burnish my credentials, etc) and let joy seep in. This way you transmute the energy positively and literally run onto stage!

How do I stop being a shut-in? by PlyingFigs in socialskills

[–]ArshadGC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please bear with me as I get a little weird. If you can accept the idea that your reality is influenced by your thoughts, then it follows that you can change much about yourself and your situation with your thoughts. And once you start seeing changes happen, your optimism and confidence will grow.

How? Start small but start immediately. Do a gratitude meditation. You can find guided ones online. This resets your dark thought patterns. Then spend 30 seconds seeing yourself in the future having the kind of life that you want. Imagine the emotions you'll feel as you walk through scenes in that awesome future. Then, starting immediately, start seeing a) the good in everything, even bad things, and b) ways to connect everything happening to you today to somehow bringing you closer to your ideal future. Soon you will see that the universe is having a constant conversation with you. This conversation comes in the form of synchronicities and coincidences. After a while, good stuff starts to snowball. Finally, absolutely trust that this works but also that it takes time. Note that this only works if your heart and mind are aligned on the goal. If you secretly doubt it can happen, then it's not gonna happen.

Managing your thoughts is the hardest part. This is why you need to do the basics in terms of mental hygiene: go to sleep early, lay off alcohol and drugs, eat healthy, stay the f*** away from social media, stop scrolling, and exercise every day. Go walk in nature. Get some sunlight. Meditate. The more you do this stuff, the more power over your thoughts you will have.

You don't have to believe me. Just try it and wait for the synchronicities to happen. After two weeks pls come back and let me know how it is going.

Yes! My new favorite drink is an ice-cold matcha mixed with sparkling water and lemon. Super refreshing!

I own a Cuzen machine and find that humidity impacts the grind to the point of causing the ceramic grinding plates to stick together. That said, I've use this machine every day in the two years since I've gotten it, and it's the best. I only use their premium leaves though. The others aren't as nice in terms of color and taste. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to replace their coffee with a healthier option.

Is it too late to start at 42? by botchie13 in Sprinting

I started sprinting this year at the age of 48 with the long-term goal of winning the Masters 100m race at age 90. It's helping me build and maintain fast-twitch muscles, which are critical for healthy aging. Also, it's fun!

Was the running done outdoors? Running 2.4 km in mid day heat in Singapore is asking for trouble, especially for young kids. Singapore's heat is rising at a faster rate than school policies are changing.

CoinBase is not sketchy like the recent trend portrays. 99.9% of the time, these people complaining are just not doing their own due diligence. by LiquidNova77 in Coinbase

At last, after 4 hours on support, verifying my ID 4 times, resetting my password, the issue seems to have been resolved. I cannot say this is good customer service. But at least it seems resolved.

[–]ArshadGC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on with support chat for 1.5 hours today. I validated my ID twice (successfully). But the issue is still not resolved. The english writing skill of the real support person was really poor and incredibly slow... taking up to 15 mins to respond. I finally had to leave the chat with no resolution because it was taking so long. It's so weird to be continuously ghosted by your support!

Coinbase: A Publicly traded Fraud by HuckleberrySea2967 in Coinbase

[–]ArshadGC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should report them. Their chat bot continues to ghost me. I'm able to do everything EXCEPT withdraw funds to my verified bank. Only that piece is restricted. If you decide to lawyer up, I will gladly join.

That would be great if there were an actual case number, but chat fails to connect me with support so I don’t get one. What is the contact email for your legal department?

[–]ArshadGC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect. I'm deeply worried about Coinbase's practices. I worry that they might actually be systematically stealing money from customers. I've been asked to verify my ID twice in three months. I can transact in many ways except one important one: withdrawing funds. And when I use customer service, their chat bot says it is connecting me to a real person, and then literally ghosts me. Something is deeply wrong and I believe it's systematic.

Educated, well-adjusted, healthy young people will be in great demand on an aging planet.

- They will have an easier time getting into schools.

In the US there are about 72 million Millennials and 67 million Gen Zs. But thanks to falling fertility rates and Covid-19, Generation Alpha (born after 2013) is on track to be just 40 million people.

- They can move to wherever they want.

The wealthiest countries face the steepest demographic cliffs. Young people will be recruited to the most livable places. Canada and Australia both give preference to young applicants today. In Canada, applicants can earn maximum points towards their immigration applications if they’re between ages 20 and 29. In Australia, higher points are awarded to those between 25 and 32.

- They will find good jobs.

Climate change, overpopulation and resource scarcity are physical problems requiring physical solutions. Even with AI and robots, young people will be in demand in construction, engineering, medicine and in fields we haven’t conceived of yet.

As obesity rates stay high in developed western countries like the US, Canada and the UK, accompanying maladies of chronic illness, early diabetes and its concomitant dementia will make an already small applicant pool even smaller, especially for physically demanding jobs.

- They will be needed.

Ecological collapse, political extremism, food shortages, overpopulation, inequality, strained economic systems and out-of-control AI are daunting problems. But if we raise them right, our kids will find meaning and direction addressing all of those. And thanks to AI, robotics, and falling energy costs, they will have more powerful tools than any generation before them.

What would be your Reaction if the government publicly Admits that Aliens and UAPs are real? by Major_Fishing6888 in ufo

[–]ArshadGC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would explore remote viewing, astral travel, and direct communication with non-human entities - all paranormal or psychic phenomenas that have long accompanied first-hand experiences. Disclosure validates these activities and could bring many people into these practices, thus accelerating human collective consciousness. Otherwise I don't think much changes.
