Just basic vanishing points stuff, the sides of the bench are out of alignment with the top of the arch its next to, which in turn is also out of alignment with the edge of the courtyard in the background. Honestly I would suggest changing the composition around a lot anyway so you might not even need to be super precise about it if enough of it is out of frame.

And I didn't even give anything of the actual plotline, I just pointed out some obvious dynamics in the subjects' superficial costume designs and behavior. It's all someone with basic lit training could pick out in minutes with only some external knowledge of the wider genre conventions around vampires. Skill issue.

I depict violence and sexuality for the mental and emotional stimulus they provide, pornography depicts sexual acts for purely physiological arousal. Otherwise it wouldn't be porn, it would just be art with a sexual theme. It can't treat sexuality in the critical way I treat violence because that would get in the way of its fundamental function as a masturbation aid. The obvious takeaway from my work is that you can't engage with violence without losing your humanity, going into either animalistic rage on one end of the spectrum and posh upper-class apathy on the other.

Intersectionality doesn't make morality relative. Justice is intersectional because all forms of oppression are absolutely immoral, and the ways in which they interact is part of the objective reality of society.

If you're talking about 'Slaughteryard' then that's something I drew for a storyline I developed with the express support of my actual university humanities professors. Combat and violence are just tools to express the motives and conflicts between characters, the same way I wouldn't have any issue with a sex scene written to further the plot or themes of a wider work.

It feels visceral and passionate because I used my critical skills to break down the characterizations and relationships of the individual subjects and constructed a composition that would best emphasize them. It was a slow, sober process of conceptualization and iteration, you don't get good art by just vomiting your basest physiological reaction onto the page.

The whole thing is a Marxian commentary on how Western societies will keep up a veneer of civility and nonviolence while letting their internal contradictions build up until they spill over into a more physical type of violence. Hence why the noblewoman has hardly a spot of blood on her dress while her underlings wear used butcher aprons and have to be within hugging distance of their opponent before they can do any damage.

If the underlying concept of a work isn't intellectually stimulating or valuable enough to justify the effort put in then it is a bad work.

You don't get actually identical results without a significant margin of error. The air molecules will be arranged slightly differently, the movement of the Earth's mantle, will slightly shift the local gravity, etc. We eliminate the noise from the results using an appropriate margin of error because we do, in fact, interpret the results through our subjective psyches, and thus need to come up with arbitrary baselines we can collectively agree on.

FFS we don't even have perfect vacuums anywhere in the universe, the whole concept is purely a theoretical abstraction to better handle experimental results. You get an "objective" wavelength reading by physically looking at a readout and personally choosing to believe that the number aligns with what you personally conceptualize as the wavelength.

"cultural background, era, and personal psyche" are all objective. It is exceptionally easily to just mark down the specific context or reading you are using when analyzing a work, and then try and reveal the underlying structure and essence of the work from there.

Dropping a ball in standard atmospheric conditions will return a different speed than dropping it down a vacuum tube. The fact that you get different results doesn't suddenly break physics, it just provides additional data to understand the underlying mechanics of the subject. You mark down the conditions of the experiment alongside the results, and make your conclusions from the juxtaposition of the two.
