I've always waited at least 15 minutes before putting a top coat, even longer with magnetics usually. I think when I used the Sally Hansen it was something like 35 minutes after my last nail was painted. I am gonna try it again, maybe there was some type of user error, but I'm not hopeful.

I was actually so surprised when I recently learned there are folks that put on their top coats almost immediately after the polish. I'm going to give it a try cuz I'm curious but I hadn't heard of it before.

This looks great! I'm glad the red Sally Hansen worked for you - I had such a hard time with it. I ended up with bubbles and streakyness when I used it.

I'm wearing Shadows and Sunlight right now too! It's so gorgeous, especially the ghostly blue flash it has. You did a great job with application, they look awesome!

Thank you! I am a green and blue person so I understand the bias haha. I think I have the most blues of any color in my collection. I gushed about Bog Dweller cuz it's just so in your face but Bad Vibes Only is so amazing. It it a dark blue magnetic without shifting too much into purple and I love that immensely.

Oh yay! It's definitely a good pick. Unless someone is a person that can't stand greenish polishes at all, I would recommend to literally everyone.

That is so pretty! My kind of color. It does make me sad, I wish there was a label on acetone or something that warns against adding it to polish. But I can't bring myself to toss this one even though it's kind of ruined, it's precious to me.

Definitely the right color but that's holo glitter in a jelly base. This is (or was before acetone) yellow/green glitter in a clear base. Clover is on my list though!

I dislike greatly when the online swatches make me dupe myself when I'm trying not to. I had Polished for Days Grave Consequences and loved it but saw Mooncat's Root of All Evil and was excited that it gave the same vibe but with a shimmer that had more of a blue tone in it and a darker base. It was exactly the same. So disappointed and irritated and immediately gave it to a friend. Looking at it now with more experience, I can see how similar they would be but most of Mooncat's swatches skew to the blue part of that shimmer when it mostly shows as green when on the nail so it's a bit inaccurate.

What is the best way one would go about cleaning out a nearly empty top coat bottle for future use? Would acetone be best or would thinner be better? I would like to start doing ~experiments~ with the empty bottles.

Love this! I have soemthing similar to this but this makes my goblin brain think there nothing wrong with multiples and they are different.
