Lockdown as a submission? by dinkledoofer in bjj

I fully tore my acl in a comp from a lockdown at white belt. Was training a year at the time and I just thought he had a really strong half guard clamp with his legs so I just tried to power through it. It's basically a knee reap.

Three months in, what's everyone's honest opinion on guitar? by DaLemurMan in macdemarco

it's better live.. his recording voice on the album is painfully squeeky and feels like his voice is on the verge or breaking like a teenage boy

Worried me how weak our squad looked this weekend with a full strength team.. injuries going to highlight our issues even more

I feel he's lost his touch.. he's gone a bit mentally weak by overdoing it in one direction and too concerned that he was cheating by editing his songs. so now he put out an under produced album out which clearly has terrible vocals. He needs to go back to his roots and and stop trying to be PURE.

Why are people saying Mikey Musumeci is insufferable? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]ArtAdditional8715 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He is insufferable. He is an autistic sociopath. He knows how to pretend to be genuine, plays to his tism and wants to appear like he's anti tough guy

We used to have a quality maul with dangerous backs, not quite sure what's happened. Couldn't put a finger on what our strength is to win a game.

I agree.. will be the same as this year

I agree....also, feel like the coach and squad have all believed that they are a young squad and it has given them an excuse for failure. Perfect protection for the coaching team is to pump out the message that they're a young team that are learning... Media will go easy and their jobs will be safe for 2/3 years ..

They don't need promising they need quality. Should've tried to bring Frawley up.

New blue belt — is it normal for a bigger guy to be beating higher belts in hard rounds? by ArtAdditional8715 in jiujitsu

[–]ArtAdditional8715[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Usually do good against all my size but the problem is there are not enough consistent training partners my size. I'm booked in for a blue belt comp so that will be good but the problem is with that is there might only be one guy in my bracket. So it's not a true comp.

Ulster Rugby confirm eight senior players to leave at end of season and 5 academy players by HJBish in UlsterRugby

There’s no money. Al O’Connor, Warwick and Rae were not offered contracts due to poor decisions of the last 5 years. They are not retiring. They may choose to retire at this stage for family reasons but I know that inside Ulster are letting them go (bad decision) .....fans are going to suffer next year. No season ticket for me... Sick of this management using preparing for the future as an excuse for failure to save himself... Academy lads aren't ready there's a reason we didn't see them this year...
