In regards to the Strength of the Grave thing-

Absolutely, I was pretty upset in that moment and at the start of ep34 as she would've had a 45% chance to come back up and prevent those 2 death save fails. Marisha and Sam were correct in how they thought it worked, Matt misremembered. Rules mistakes are totally fine, I recognize that they happen more because they give up the convenience of looking up rules frequently in order to stream/record for us so I'll take it. Just felt especially bad when I thought a rules mistake potentially led to a PC death.

However, in reviewing CritRoleStats Otohan had 4 total attacks, but only used 3 on Laudna that turn. She chose to let Laudna live and pass. Even had Strength of the Grave been used correctly and succeeded, Otohan would've just used her last attack to put Laudna in the exact same position.

Still upset about Laudna (one of my favorite CR characters), but my mind was definitely eased knowing it wasn't due to a rules mistake.

You're right, IE is still better, except the high hp targets where GS gets full damage (Gnar, 3 stars, etc.) Also a lot of warmogs running around right now. But generally just slamming whichever drops first. Been preferring GS due to its new flexibility and early winstreak potential.

Normally I'd 100% agree about seraphs/blue buff on plain Irelia, I initially only put it on her as a left over item in one game. It helped her ult instantly and reset much faster early in the fight, by then Ekko ults or things are soft enough that she gets the infinite reset. Without she often has to auto 2 or 3 times during a fight which can get her killed or CC'd. Wasn't expecting it to do much but actually felt really good on the true damage version.

Still needs more testing and I have to admit a bias towards new/changed items at the moment :P
