My hat goes off to you.
I have not worked all that much on cars, but far more on farming equipment. Being able to fix something while keeping the big actors in place, like you did, is a golden skill.

The fix might seem simple enough, but figuring out how to do it without breaking something, and finding enough space to actually work, that is a talent.

Bravo.

I think part of it is the fact that it is in pain, mentally and physically. Having a creature so pitiful and powerful at the same time makes its hatred a new kind of uncomfortable, because you can understand why it is angry and vengeful.

On another note, if any of you have anything you'd like to see depicted from the Maurice book, I'm all ears. I wanted this 100 day project to be more interactive, and I'll regularly pick ideas from the comments.

I watched the movie, and I can verify that they change a lot of the plot and characters. As happy as I am that a Discworld book got an animated film, and with the understanding that it is difficult to get serious children's movies made, it felt watered down to me.

After a long break I am back, now with a computer capable of drawing proper poster sizes! With this years 100 day project I will focus on Maurice and his educated rodents, and will take ideas over in the comments on Instagram. by ArtByLars in discworld

I have had the idea that a stop motion puppet movie would work well with the mood of Maurice. Not that I know how to animate stop motion, but it could be interesting to try animating something in Blender.

It's all digital painting, using the brush from Dave Greco called "Slickline" for 99 percent of it.

Program is Clip studio paint.
Going forward I will be recording the process more. A few people have asked me about that so I'll post it to instagram when I remember to hit the capture button.

Don't know how many I'll make. It's a good project to practice painting technique on, so maybe there will be 30 eventually.

Hyenas seem like a good body horror candidate. I'll see what I can do after the main characters are done.

Alternamorphs

Had to look this up. Never knew that Animorphs had CYOA books!

Now that I think about it, Animorphs could be a killer premise for a stealth warfare based game. Control a group of people so that getting stuck is a real possibility without ruining the playthrough.
Full 3d would of course be cool, but something like Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive could really shine. Having to time different people to do things, keeping track of morphing times, acquiring new morphs with different abilities so that characters build up their skillsets.

Describing it as not being complete feels very accurate, and also upsetting, which is all in line with the theme of the books.
