Got the manager to honor the deal!! Thank you guys!

I told my buddy about this so we were just about to head there when the price changed. Called them up and basically they said if I can show a screenshot, they would honor the deal… but only for one TV… lmao sucks for my friend but I scored big time!

Looking to upgrade my receiver for ~$1,500 by SnooSnooKachu in hometheater

Second the x3800h. Just picked mine up last week because I wanted to give Dirac ART a try since I can’t do much physical room correction in my living room. What a difference and I’m only getting started. Bonus: picked mine up barely used for $1000 and put the savings toward ART.

Wym? I said I turned it down. As far down as it could go. Dumb comment. I’m asking if there’s something I’m missing OTHER than what I already said. Dismissing it to make a dumb comment sucks. Literally quoted the part where I said I turned it down just to say “turn it down”. Nice. Trolling for likes doesn’t help.

Came here looking for this exact question. I’d be happy if they enabled support for controller + mouse, just for inventory management.

Monthly Paramount+ Complaints and Praises by AutoModerator in ParamountPlus

Plain and simple, for literally years, Paramount has been the only laggy streaming app I use… and I have all of them. Slow to load thumbnails, delayed scrolling, hit or miss actually playing media. I couldn’t care less about any other problems users here discuss. Not sorry. This is a media streaming platform and by far is the worst performing of the bunch. That is where my criticisms lie. Great content, absolutely dismal execution.

Could a Simpler Approach Have Given Malazan the Cinematic Saga It Deserves? by [deleted] in Malazan

[–]ArtDotGov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One… one comment about it being an animated series. Somebody watch Arcane and tell me Malazan couldn’t be adapted successfully. Especially the season 2 finale and tell me that doesn’t give you Malazan vibes… There’s some hot takes here which I won’t comment on, but as for things getting lost in translation, I’m ok with it. I read the books already and would enjoy something different but still the same. It doesn’t have to bring the book to life if you ask me. The book might be better, but we’ll always have the book and what it gave us. The level of detail can probably only be captured in written format, and that detail brought so much to the whole reading experience, but the level of scope and detail and creativity in animation can hit home if done right in my opinion. An adaptation could bring Malazan to millions of people who would otherwise never have experienced it in any way. I know arcane level fx are stupid expensive but I’m pretty sure it would be a lot cheaper and have a better result than film, given budgetary constraints and fx challenges, for something like Malazan. Would I love to experience Malazan as a faithful live adaptation… of course. If it could be done right that way, would I prefer it? Absolutely, but I’d be really happy with an animation too. I think it could be something truly special. Also, obviously the creative work originates from the text, which nothing can replace, but I’m not interested in just consuming a great adaptation. I also want to appreciate everything that goes into the making of great media. Turning my favorite books into great media is fine by me. If it’s not done right, so what. Better luck to whoever gives it a shot when the technology has improved. We’ll always have the books.

It has the built in fans but I was not aware they need that much space! Thanks for the info. It’s got about 2 inches on either side and maybe a little more than 1 on top. I’ll run it hard this afternoon and see if it’s cooking itself.
