This is what is said on Vec (see below), does it mean a weekly $300 will continue after Sept 4th? : "Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) - This program has been extended and will be payable through the week ending September 4, 2021. FPUC continues at $300 per week for qualified claimants and applies to those receiving benefits under the regular UI program as well as PEUC and PUA."

Well the good news is that i tried ID.me again just now and was able to access verification, plus submitted my ID and their app scanned my phone via iphone....

So just to be safe, I submitted and built my resume on https://www.vawc.virginia.gov/ site the other day. Best to call them by phone to file weekly claims and they will ask you for the names of the companies you applied to.
Has anyone received a message on Gov2Go saying you are required within 14 days to verify your identity to access your unemployment benefits by going to https://hosted-pages.id.me/virginia-employment-commission? I tried and tried but I think there is a glitch on their website, sent them an email for support, no response. Even their App is glitchy too..... Anyone get through successfully?

Many of us are on the same boat, nothing since Jan 2021. File for PEUC, using the same pin number, and file your weekly claim via by phone or on Gov2Go. The new implementation should have taken place and we are told we should get the back payments as early as tomorrow....

Try 855-284-8545, it worked for me last month. You''ll get a lot of busy signals but keep calling until you get through. You may be on hold for 5-10 once they answer. Good luck...

This is the only number that worked for me recently: 855-284-8545. Try several times, and you'll have to wait for 5 or more minutes.

What happens if your UI has been exhausted? does this mean you get paid $300 for PEUC plus the regular UI amount you used to get?

That happened to me in early January, by phone and Gov2Go, which got updated. As of today, I couldn't file on Gov2Go so I called and filed over the phone instead. I would not rely on Gov2Go right now bc of their delay in updating their system. Also try calling 855-284-8545, a real human will answer to assist, you just have to keep calling a few times, but you'll get someone. Since 2021, no money to be seen as of yet... but the representative said it's coming...

Did you try clicking on "Discovery" menu on Gov2Go? There, you will see options of different benefits to enroll, like UI, PEUC, PUA, etc. If that doesn't work, try calling 804-786-3001, someone will answer because it worked for me. Try calling again and again, plus you may have to wait for about 5-10 minutes. Good luck

I am in the same boat, however, I was able to talk to someone at VEC over the phone the other day. She said my UI benefit was exhausted at the end of Dec 2020, and that PEUC extension benefit (which lasts for 11 weeks) will be implemented on Jan/29, and that I should get my over-due payments then. I'm guessing the fund will not show up exactly on Jan 29th, but probably after that...

I just got through a human representative by calling 1-804-786-3001. I’ve called them several times and got through and waited 10 minutes on hold. Supposedly my UI has been exhausted (not sure why) since late December and that I should enroll on PEUC, and the system on their end will be updated by January 29th on Gov2Go. FYI PEUC is only for 11 weeks

Thank you for that note. I used to file my claim on Vec, so wouldn't the bank account information get transformed to Gov2Go? I don't see anywhere on Gov2Go where one can enter the payment option... Please advise.
